Goals I hope to accomplish before Summer 2010.

We all have goals. The key to making a list of goal that you hope to accomplish before a certain date, it is important to make your goals attainable. I have a lot of un-attainable goals. I made this list of all the goals that are within my reach before the summer of 2010.

  1. Get my laptop back.
  2. Purchase a trampoline.
  3. Take Bailey to a groomer.
  4. Launch our Lemonade business.
  5. Use Excel to create a pay roll for me and my sisters.
  6. Order Summer Clothes from www.ae.com (hmmm?)
  7. Go shopping at Aeropostale in the mall.
  8. Sort out the bedroom situation.
  9. Set up wii system (by self) maybe a couple of tid-bits.
  10. Become 100 pounds (hmmm?)
  11. Don't lost cell phone.
  12. Get at least 2 new pairs of shoes.
  13. Get ROCKBAND hooked up on the wii.
  14. Never go below $200.00 in my bank account.
  15. Type this list out and print it.
  16. Hook up my printer at home. (in my room-to my laptop)
  17. Bigger paper route (hmmm?)
  18. Go for jog to Cottonwood island park.
  19. Don't abandon blog.
  20. Successfully finish Grade 8.
  21. Get Cabel properly hooked up in room, if still in there.
  22. Go to Razors Edge with Celsey.
  23. Get Bailey the puppy bed from Petland.
  24. Dog walking job with Tammy & Craig (hmmm?)
  25. Do a post (on my blog) about this list.
  26. Stay a Club Penguin Member.
  27. Make travel plans for this summer.
  28. Keep following Edmond's blog.
  29. Encourage Edmond and Cortni to make this sort of list.
  30. Read Edmond and Cortni's list.
The reason some of the goals have the phrase 'hmmm?' at the end is because those are goals that I think I may not be able to accomplish. Such as, getting a dog walking job. They have to first agree upon it. sorry for the rushed ending. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. BYE! :)

If I was in Kindergarten.. this is what I would bring to Show & Tell.

If I were a kindergarten student, and I was asked by my teacher to bring in one little object, that would fit in the palm of my hand. But was the most important thing in the world to me.. I would bring.........

I think that the most important thing to me.. back then of course. Is my boeboe. That's how it's pronounced. But I would prefer to spell it like Bobo. It was a tiny strip of some pink cloth that was so cozy. Just the smell of it was comforting. Old, and musty. I would suck on two of my fingers, and run it through three fingers. I always imagined that it was like a factory. Making products all day. I imagined that it was my job. And that my Bobo was the conveyor belt. I would fall asleep "working" and I would wake up with my Bobo. I could never find it. I remember searching for the longest time every morning just to find it. And when I couldn't find it, and I had given up. My mom would go into the closet where she store a big blankey. It was like a giant Bobo. She would cut it into a skinny little long and narrow strip, and that was my new Bobo. The reason she gave me one at a time was because though they got lost quicker, I could always just go and get another one from the closet. I went through a HUGE blankey a month, almost. But then I just stopped sucking my fingers, maybe because my mom stopped buying the blankeys, and then I started to adapt the habit of sucking my fingers without the Bobo. I eventually learned to stop though.

I'm glad that I only sucked my fingers because at least it's better for your teeth than sucking your thumb is. To this day, I can't even remember what fingers they were that I sucked on all day and night. Me and my Dad always try to remember. But I think if I asked my mom she would know. I'm going to do that right now. She said that I sucked on my ring finger and middle finger. So I was wrong about the three finger thing. I just stuck my fingers in my mouth (they're washed) and it feels right so I'm going with that. Uh Oh! This post was a bad idea. I'm getting into the habit. I have an old raggedy Bobo downstairs somewhere. I'll find it come other time and then I'll update this post with pictures. Did I mention that it is a light pink color. It was always tattered. I made sure of that!

Anyways, I would bring the Bobo because when I was younger, it was the most comforting thing in the world, next to, of course, my mom and dad's hugs! I sucked my fingers until Kindergarten. It was a good habit in many ways. I think I replaced it with biting my finger nails. Which is a much worse nasty habit. This post turned out to be less about show and tell, and more about the importance of the show and tell item itself. I'd better go now. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. BYE!

This was another post recommended to me by Edmond Lo. Thank-You Edmond for the wonderful ideas.

Random Pictures of the Day.

Hey, my friend Edmond--> edmondscenter.blogspot.com usually does a post about his random picture of the day. I decided that today I'm going to do a quick post.. I'm going to be posting a bunch of different pictures and some explanations of each.. explaining why I have chosen them. Here it goes.

This is a picture of Master Chief also known as Spartan117, he's from Halo. I don't know anything about Halo, but I chose to write about this picture because my friend Devin is addicted and LOVES Halo. He's like.... pretty much, THE MASTER!

This is the resort that I stayed at in Mexico, Cancun. It was a wonderful experience. I'm pretty sure that the right one is another resort entirely. We stayed in the one on the left. It was the best time of my life. We didn't have the nicest weather, and didn't get to go snorkeling, or swimming in the ocean. All of the staff there is amazingly friendly! If you're ever thinking of going on a vacation there, then Google ' The Royal Solaris ' Trust me! You will not regret it.

This is Lady Gaga. I look up to her, sort of.. I asked my sister Nyah for random ideas of pictures that I could have enough ideas to write about in my blog. Obviously, she was singing a Lady Gaga song, and she said Lady Gaga. I look up to Lady Gaga because she flaunts her fashion. She definitely doesn't follow the crowd like a little devoted puppy dog!

This is a bike made by the company that made my bike. I'm not sure exactly what kind of bike I have. But I know it's sort of like this. But the strange handle bar things point upwards on my bike. It used to be my Dad's bike. But he gave it to me.

Weird enough, when I typed in 'Peugeot' this car, and all these random really nice cars popped up and I thought it was kind of weird how the same brand that makes my bike, makes designer cars. I chose this car out of the many other ones because this one is the nicest one. In my opinion, that is. I think I want this car when I get older. You can barely tell where the front is! It's cool!

Those are all of the random pictures I wanted to write about today. I hope you enjoyed! BYE!

Sensitivity.

Some people are more sensitive than other, some people get frustrated more easily than others. I'm one of the over sensitive type. The slightest pin drop can make me burst out in tears. I'm not sure how it all started, but I remember back to the earliest moment when my sensitivity truly shone through, and was revealed.

The earliest moment that I can actually remember was when I was a mere 20 months old, it was the week of my mom and dad's wedding. All of the family was at our house. We had a lot of property then, so we were all playing around and having a good time. I could walk, of course. I was over a year old. So I was playing around the deck, when my Uncle Chris told me very politely and sweetly to stop touching something. I think I remember it being because I could get slivers. I then burst out into tears and ran away crying. And when I say burst out into tears I mean literally, it was like a ocean started pouring out of my eye sockets! I couldn't breathe I was crying so bad. He didn't even say it very loudly. It was insane. The sad thing is, I wasn't tired at all.. that's just my sensitive side. Unless, I don't have a sensitive side... and I'm ALL sensitivity. Sensitivity can be a great trait to have, but not if you're as sensitive as me!

My mom is persistent on reminding me that this was NOT in fact my earliest moment of sensitivity. She said that this was only one among many. Apparently I was this sensitive from the moment of birth. If you said a single word to me I would burst out crying. It's gotten better, but I'm still overly-sensitive.

I hope you enjoyed this post about my sensitive problem! Not sure what to call it. Anyways, BYE!

Technology Champ.

Computers, Cell Phones, Gaming Systems, GPS... there's a million electronics in this world. Can you name them all? There's a lot of electronics that you wouldn't think to be electronics.. but they are.

Everybody also has their favorite electronic. Most would rank their fave electronic device on Efficiency, Usefulness, Looks, Durable.. everything. I rank my favorite electronic device on how efficient and useful it is. I know you can probably see this coming but my favorite electronic is an iPhone. Not only can it be a cell phone, but it's pretty much a computer in your hands, not that it's any different from a blackberry. I don't own an iPhone so I'm not too sure about everything that it can do. I own a blackberry storm, and it can go online also. It's pretty expensive though. So I don't go online. Anyways, iPhones are constantly being updated there's always new apps. I heard something on the radio the other day that if you create and Ipod, or Iphone app, and it's a hit.. you could make a LOT of money. I'm talking like, sometimes people have made millions. Anyways, normally I would say computer. Because they don't cost as much. Except for maintenance, and maybe internet. I'm not sure because I don't pay for my internet. Iphones have internet access everywhere, they fit in the palm of your hand and in your pocket! But they are expensive.

The point is that you can have pretty much a two in one with an Iphone.. or Blackberry or just any regular cell phone. Or you can have a computer.. that has all of the normal functions of a computer. Including, Microsoft office, Paint, Limewire. If you had a really HIGH TECH cell phone, then maybe you could be able to program it to function just like a computer. I've heard of a computer phone, in a book I'm reading. I'm not sure if it's actually possible to make such a thing though. So don't take my word for it, even if this such a thing is possible.. can you imagine the cost. Below is a picture that I think qualifies as the most possible 'computer phone.'

This post was really quick, not so much to the point though. I just wanted to let you know a few of the benefits of both computers and phones. I hope you still enjoyed. BYE!

Keera's Blog.

Keera is my sister. Sky7045 is Keera's penguin. All About Club Penguin is Keera's Club Penguin blog.

I just wanted to make a quick shout out post to my sister Keera's blog. She's 9 years old, and her blog has been getting better feedback than my blog. It's not AS edited as it could be, not that appealing. But she's got some good long posts in there. I hope you check it out, here's a picture of her blog.

It's a fairly new blog, which is why it's a little on the plain side. And not as full of Club Penguin as she would like it to be. But it's pretty cool. Thanks to Edmond she has the cute little puppy as her theme. He was the mastermind behind that. You should have seen it when I was trying to do it. Anyways I'll give you the link to her website. It's pretty easy to remember. It's also the name of her penguin on Club Penguin.

 www.sky7045.blogspot.com Also, just click here.

Thanks for reading. I hope you follow her blog. =) BYE!

Schedules Save Lives.. and Groundings!

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is my weekend. Some weekends aren't as organized as others. But I always manage to squeeze in a little bit of fun here and there. This post is going to be about the perfect weekend.. if I could plan it!

Friday night I would sleep at a friends house, we would have fun.. obviously! Then on Saturday morning we would do something like.. mall or bike ride, or maybe a walk to Tim Hortons, or McDonalds. Most likely, Tim Hortons. After that we would go to their house and I would ride my bike home. When I got home I would blog and probably do some other stuff like computer. Saturday night I would spend the night at another friends house. And on Sunday we would for sure go shopping at the mall. I would get lots of clothes, and some flip flops. Mine are seriously damaged beyond repair. Surprisingly, I am still wearing them to school! I would also get books, and a pink cell phone case. Because my black one broke... somehow. After that I would go home, do laundry, clean my room, and relax. Probably do some blogging and facebook in between all of that hard work though. Computer time would be the relax time. I would have to do homework after the computer time of course but I'm not counting hard work.

Notice I didn't count my Sunday papers, and I didn't count Piano lessons. This is what I wish all of my weekends were like. This is what I wish a typical weekend at my mom's house would be like.

Hope you liked the short, pointless post. It's the last for the night. So I hope you read it slow.. BYE! :)

Community Clean Up!

Tomorrow, Sunday April.25th, is Fort George Park community clean up day. I will be attending, along with my mom and my three younger sisters. I'm trying to convince my mom to let my mom let me do my Lemonade stand where people will be garbage picking.. because it would be BIG business.. unfortunately she's making me clean up also.

I just wanted to let you know what a good thing the community is getting together to do. I know there will be good results and I can't wait to see them. I'm going to be doing a post about how it turns out. The places that I think need the most attention and care, are the back alleys. There's all different things back there. Things you couldn't even imagine. Pool noodles, Mufflers, Bouncy Balls, Hockey Pucks, Shopping Carts... etc. It's really kind of disgusting back there though, especially with this weather because it's super muddy back there right now. I also thing that Patricia Blvd. being a rather main and busy street, could use some extra cleaning. It's pretty messy around there. By the river, along the Cottonwood island trails there is a lot of garbage also. Despite, the garbage cans every 2 or 3 miles.

This was a short post, but I just thought that I should let you know what the community is doing tomorrow. It's going to be a beautiful thing.. hopefully it's a beautiful day! :) 16° is what the weather forecast has been saying, I'm praying that mother nature exceeds their expectations though! AREN'T WE ALL??!!?!

Find your self on Google.

We've all done it. Some time or another, I know you've tried to Google your name. You probably realized that you get better results if you type in both your First and Last name. You're either really satisfied with the photos that show up, or you hate it.

I've done this an un-countable number of times. I guess because I think that maybe the pictures with change. When I did this for the first time, I typed on my first name and this is the picture that I got.
Not very appropriate photos if you ask me. I couldn't choose just one, so I decided to just show you the whole monitor screen.

Next, I tried typing in Teagan Parke.. these are the results that I got.

It is kind of scary how I'm on google.. I think it is because of Facebook. Sort of creepy, anyways. I tried typing in 'Teagan Joan Parke' and it didn't really give me anything of importance.. I'll show you anyways.

This post was really. Short I just wanted to show you this.. I don't know why. Okay, BYE! :)

Latest Digestions!

Technically these things haven't yet.. let's just say 'finished' cycling through the whole digestion system quite yet. This post is going to be about all of the things that I have eaten in the past 24 hours. Starting with breakfast.

For breakfast I had a couple things. First of all, I ate an English Muffin. They are sort of like smaller bagels and are very tasty I eat them with all kinds of spreads. But normally, I just spread butter and let it melt. Below is a picture of an English muffin, if you've never eaten one before.

Below are the breakfast drinks that I had. I drink one when I don't really have a lot of time. You just fill a glass three quarters full, and dump the chocolate powder in. Then you stir it until the chocolate is all mixed in. It's yummy, healthy, quick, and easy to make. It's my type of thing! :)
Once I got to school I did my stuff, at break I didn't eat anything. Which is surprising. Especially for me! If you know me, you know I eat a lot. At lunch, I ate my Rice Krispies square.

This is pretty much the kind of Rice Krispie Treat I had. Simple, and easy to just grab and throw in my backpack.

For lunch I also had a danactive. I have one of these usually twice or three times a week, they're tasty, and they're supposed to be healthy for you or something like that. I had a blueberry one! I drank it on the way to Subway.

This is a subway sandwich. I don't get this much stuff on my sandwiches I eat them really plain just the basics and no mayo, mustards, stuff like that. Cheese, Ham, Lettuce, and Cucumbers.. that's all I get.

When I got home I ate a honey and peanut butter sandwich, toasted. Just normal bread. (White bread) After that I ate a bowl of honeycombs.

This is the honeycombs. They're really good also!

After I finished the HoneyCombs. I ate a bowl of Nesquik. My FAVORITE. At my dads house, I eat 4 bowls minimum for breakfast. It makes me sick sometimes.. when I eat too much. But it's soo yummy!

Well, that's it for this random and weird post. I hope you enjoyed! BYEE! =)

High Schools..

PGSS, Heather Park, DP Todd, Duchess Park, John McInnis. What school do you go to.. how did you stumble upon the decision that you were going to go to the school. Everybody has their stories.. here's mine.

This is a rather short story.. but I'm going to add in some future high school life and decisions near the end, also. First of all. Pretty much the only reason that I wanted to come to John McInnis Secondary School was because a lot of my friends were going there and because it is a smaller school than PGSS, or any other schools that me and my family were considering. I had planned on completing Grade 8 through 10 in John McInnis.. but unfortunately the government has decided to close down (then re-open) John McInnis, and a number of other Middle and Elementary schools. That's pretty much the story about why I decided to go to the High School I now go to.

The decision to go to John McInnis was pretty easy. Because all of my friends were going there, and both of my parents decided that it would be a good choice. The choice that I'm in the midst of making right now though.. not so much. There's lots of different schools. But I narrowed it down to Duchess Park and PGSS. My mom decided that PGSS would be good. Again, all of my friends are going there. And I want to graduate there because most of my mom's side and two of my older sibling (Cortni and Kristopher) graduated from that school. I think it would be neat to have some of the same teachers as them and my mom! Wouldn't you? Anyways, Duchess Park on the other hand is a brand new school.. and I know some people from there. It's smaller.. and my Dad really wants me to go there. It took a long time to decide upon, but then finally one night. My mom took the liberty of just registering me one night while she was at work.. just to make my Dad happy. She suggested I try a year. And if I absolutely hated it, then she would let me transfer into PGSS. This is final. Luckily, Duchess Park has a long waiting list.. so I can only pray and pray and pray that I don't get in. I think that the main reason choosing which high school to go to next year is that I have my dad wanting one thing and my mom wanting whatever.. but me not wanting either! It's very confusing.. but I don't want to make my dad sad, I just wish my parents were forcing me to go to a single school. I wish I didn't have a choice.

Breaking News, we received a letter that is telling us that Duchess Park has a waiting list more than a mile long. And they won't be able to tell me if I'm accepted into the school or not until Spring of next year! :) Which is a very good thing because that means I'm going to PGSS for grade nine. My mom is talking about me going to Duchess for Grade Ten, but I'm not going to. I'll be too attached to PGSS by then! :) Anyways this was a quick little post.. maybe it was confusing.. I'm not sure. I just wanted to let you know about High School.. and it turns out we just got that letter. So BYE!

Earth Day on Club Penguin.

As you know, well you may not. But yesterday was Earth Day. So this post is one day late. I didn't really have enough time yesterday so I'm doing this post today, a day late. Anyways, moving on.

This post is going to be showing you how Club Penguin celebrates Earth Day. I'll just be showing you pictures quickly, and telling you what places they are.

This is the page where you log in to Club Penguin. As you can see they edited it specially for Earth Day.

This is the cover of the new newspaper. They edited it specially for Earth Day.

This is just an article that I found interesting about a new room opening. I hope it's still there as I didn't get to see it because of my grounding. I'll check it out tonight after school.

This is where the new room is located, it's to the left of the mine shack as you can see. I'm not sure what you do here. Something to do with recycling.. when you try to go in this is what you will be seeing -->

Something about a recycling plant. I don't have all of the various recyclable items that can be found around Club Penguin. I'm working on it though. I think I was able to find 3 of the many items yesterday in Info Tech class.

I'm going to move onto the rooms you typically see that have been updated. This is the town. You are automatically sent here in most of the CP (Club Penguin) servers. That is if this room isn't full. If it is, the secondary room is normally the plaza. Although, I have been logged into the beach, and dock sometimes also. One time my sister got logged onto the Cove. This is because all of the rooms were full. I think this was when she was trying to meet Candance. It was getting pretty crazy online Club Penguin that day.

The last picture that I'm going to be showing you is the Plaza. You can see a recycling item in the right corner I think.. I'm not sure. Anyways, this is usually the first secondary room you'll be logged onto if the Town is full.

That's all I wanted to show you, I'm going to be trying to do one big post about all of the new catalogs. If you're a member then most of it won't apply to you! :( Unfortunately.. but you can always become a member. I think I talked about becoming a member in my first CP post. Anyways, BYE!

New Google.

As you probably know if you visit the 'Website I frequently Visit' section at the bottom of my page then you probably know that Google is the brain I never got. You can find anything on Google. From, 'Accessing the Internet for Dummies' to 'How to go to the Bathroom after your wife plugged the toilet, and the doctor prescribed you constipation pills!'

The point is, the possibilities on Google are endless! You can type in any statement and there is always hundreds of results! Some of the top websites that you'll find on Google are.. Yahoo Answers, and Wikipedia! I personally like Yahoo answers the best. Because, first of all... I'll do another post about these two information websites. In shorter sequence, Wikipedia has a lot of links, and is very hard to understand. Harder than Yahoo Answers for example. It's real people, who have experience in all of the situations you may need answers on. I like it for many other reasons. I'll do another post about this some other time. I'm getting side-tracked.

This post was mainly created so that I could show you the new Google browser thing. I'm not sure what it's called but it's really cool! I love when they change it. It's always a nice little change, and excitement that excites me when I log onto my computer and go to Google. Below is the picture of the new.. let's call it search bar embezzlement.
The reason they change it is because it's Earth Day. It's also Earth Day online Club Penguin. Check it out! :) I'll post picture about it later. I hope you enjoyed this post! BYE! =)

Free Rice.

When I was in Elementary school we always went on this website, where for every right question you got it would donate 10 grains of rice throughout the world. At first, I thought it was a scam. And maybe they were getting paid for every question that people actually answered, and got right, of course! But, I soon found out that it is actually real. Our school donated over 1 million grains of rice all together. A couple years in a row. It was pretty amazing. It's a really easy way to do something good.

The other morning I had five minutes left before I had to be outside to catch the bus, I was going to go on Facebook quickly, but I decided not to feed my addiction. So then I logged onto Blogger and I was going to do a quick post. Then, I thought.. that would take too long. I then decided to go onto free rice, and I ended up donating over 500 grains of rice, in less than five minutes. I was pretty happy with myself. In Info Tech, when I'm not blogging or doing an assignment I go onto the website and donate some rice.

I re-discovered this website when my teacher on duty (TOC) In Info Tech was on it. She ended up donating over 10,000 grains of rice throughout the whole class. I donated 900 grains of rice that day. It was awesome.

I think that this website is for a good cause, and it's great for schools, and learning also. If you go onto the website, it automatically brings you to the game. You can go anywhere from here though. You can get to the home page, and you can learn more about the website and it's cause at the INFO page. You can contact the United Nations World Food Program at the CONTACT tab at the top.

You can get to the website here, it's really easy to remember also. www.freerice.com. I didn't type in 'Here' and simply add the link, because I want the link to stick. So that you don't need to come to my blog every time you feel like doing some good and donating some rice. Although, it would be good for my blog's publicity!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I hope you donate some rice. Don't forget that there is many different subjects of learning. You can answer questions for all of your educational needs. There is different titles, and sub-titles. Learn, and donate away. AT THE SAME TIME! Below is a picture of the subjects panel, and the actual game.

This is what you will be seeing as soon as you come onto the website. Just click on the picture above to see a bigger image. Note: The 'Change Subjects' link is in the top right about the questionaire.

This is where you can change the subjects. Click on the above picture to enhance the image, and see the large variety of the different subjects.

Spanish.

Another post recommended by Edmond. Enjoy! :)

This post is going to be about the language I want to learn, Spanish. I'm going to list a couple main reasons I want to learn the language and what I like about it, also the ways that are helping me to learn it.

The main reason I want to learn Spanish is because all my life I've been forced to practice French, it gets pretty boring after a while. I just want a slight change. Try something new. Not too new, too tragic. But a little change. I also want to have different options as I'm growing up. One of these options possibly including moving to Mexico for the summer and living and working in a resort that I recently vacationed at in January. Spanish is an altogether beautiful language. Just the way it sounds when spoken, and the way it's written. It's an interesting language. And I really want to learn more about it. Learning about it would be one thing, but being able to speak it fluently and have an everyday conversation in this language would be amazing. I really wish I could.

If I could speak Spanish I would.. well I would brag about it obviously but I would speak it to my friends who can't speak English. I would speak more Spanish than I would English to tell you the truth because, i want Spanish to be my first language but it's not so I just have to learn it all by myself. When I go to PGSS in Grade Ten, I'm hoping to take a Beginner Spanish class. It's only available in Grade ten, but it will be really cool. In the meantime I've been practicing my Spanish Skills online on a website I just recently discovered. I'll do another post about it some other time. I could say a lot more about Spanish but I kind of want to get onto the part where I translate this post into Spanish, and make a list of the words I know in Spanish.

 This post in another language!
Otro poste recomendado por Edmond. ¡Disfrute de! :)

Trate algo nuevo. No demasiado nuevo, demasiado trágico.

If you were to read all of that out loud to yourself, or just in your head. You would be surprised how quickly you get into the jest of the Spanish language. It sounds really pretty, well maybe that's not the right word. It sounds really amazing! It's just, to me, an unbelievable language. I wish I was born into a Spanish family. Then I could be English and Spanish.

There is different types of Spanish, the only ones that I know of are Mexican Spanish. I think there's European.. or something like that. Anyways, that's all I have to say. The only thing is that.. I'm not sure if I want to learn both Spanish AND French. I know more French than I do Spanish. Spanish is just a more interesting language, TO ME. Today, in French, I heard my teacher speaking fluent French to herself. And it sounded beautiful awesome. The only thing is that French only sounds good if you have that nasal voice, and if you can roll your tongue. I'm not very good at the pronunciation in French. I'm not saying I'm any good at Spanish. It's just a little bit easier. BYE! Hope you enjoyed hearing about the language I want to learn. I'll try to do two more posts today. Possibly three, if I have enough time. I'm grounded off of the computer at home.. but I'm at school. So the rules don't apply. Anyways, I better get going so I can give you guys more to read! =) BYE!

Real or Not Real?

Reality T.V. shows. Real, or not real? That's the first question that pops into my head when I see something advertised as a Reality T.V. show. What do you think?

From my experiences, reality t.v. shows aren't real. Maybe the odd one or two are, but there have been a couple where you can tell the family is 'acting' themselves, or acting who they want us to think they are. Maybe it's for the money, or maybe it's simply a popularity issue. Such as, the hit reality series Jon & Kate Plus Eight. This reality show started out innocent, and real. But near the end, it all started to fall apart. Nobody knows why for sure, and all I've heard is the tabloids that rarely tell the truth, but in my opinion, they didn't think that the reality t.v. series was going to be such a hit. They thought that it wasn't going to make much money, and then it started raking in the big cash. This is only my opinion, I'm not in any way stating that this is in any way true. I think that they became money hungry, when they found out that so much money could be at the tip of their fingers. They definitely took it to the extreme!

Who knows if they were acting or not though, maybe the money truly did change them. This post is becoming too much about one reality show, rather than reality shows in general... continuing.

I'm not trying to point fingers at any certain reality t.v. shows that are out there, but you all know they're not all real. There's some that are though. But, wouldn't you think that it shouldn't be allowed for people to false label their shows as reality shows, if it's not going to be a reality from the start. You may still enjoy watching it, but some people are hungry for drama, and that craving isn't satisfied unless it's real-life drama. That's only some people, others are satisfied with a couple lies here and there. I, myself don't think that they should be lying about who they are or who their family is on a reality t.v. shows.

That's pretty much all I have to say though, this post was kind of short. But I didn't have much time. I just want you to think about this, do you want to be fed lies, from a so-called reality t.v. shows? Or would you rather be seeing the real deal. Would you rather be watching what they tell you your'e going to be watching, and getting out of this program? Think about that, and I hope you do a response to this post :) It was fun to do. I hope you enjoyed. =)

Last tears I shed.

This is another post that Edmond recommended I do. Please, check out his blog here ----> www.edmondscenter.blogspot.com

Anyways, the post he asked me to do was... "Last time I cried, and why." This is hopefully going to be brief, and quick.. Who knows though. You know how I ramble. :P

The last time I cried was last night. Being April 18th. Sunday night. That explains the first part.. the why reason was just a lot of things running through my mind. And I'm really bad at controlling my emotions, so all those angry, and sad thoughts kind of just exploded out of me in a burst of tears, and sobs. Luckily, my dog was there to comfort me. I could explain the whole Why part more.. but there's really no point in bringing back memories.

Actually, now that I think of it.. the last time I cried was today.. but it was like a couple tears. Pretty much the same reason. Just a bunch of things, pilling up.. trying to find a way out! It was today after school in my dads truck. I don't consider it a cry though, as it was a couple little measly tears! That didn't really mean anything. It makes me sound like a wimp, but the main reason I shed those two tears was because I've been having a hard time with math, maybe it was stress. Stress for the test tomorrow. Anyways, that wasn't considered a cry. So we'll just stick to the first one that I mentioned!

Hope you enjoyed this short little post.. about crying.. LOL! :) It was a weird, and depressing topic to pick now that I think of it Edmond.. but I did it anyways! BYE!

Ten Fears.

This is another post that Edmond has suggested for me, I'm going to be listing my top ten fears and doing a short description on each.. they are in no certain order! Enjoy! :)

 1) Dying. This is something Edmond is also scared of, just the thought of dying scares me.. I don't want to! I want to enjoy this life and this beautiful world we live in for as long as I can. But I don't want to leave in a horrible way. I don't want to be gone.. because you're GONE for good. You're not coming back to the earth. Maybe in spirit. If that's your belief. It just scares me, the fact you're not coming back, or maybe the fact that some deaths are more harsh than others! This fear is commonly known as necrophobia, or thanatophobia.

 2) Primary Malnutrition. This is caused from the lack of essential foodstuffs (normally vitamins, minerals, or proteins) in the diet. I fear this because I'm underweight. Mainly, because I have an outrageously high metabolism. But also, because I am involved in different sports. I do sit around a lot. But for some reason, I never gain a pound! In some ways I'm lucky.. but in others I am not.

 3) Murder. This is not one of the highest fears.. as it is on the more uncommon side. Well, I shouldn't say that.. there is murder in Prince George. But it scares me a lot. I'm not sure why. Being in the house alone scares me a lot.. showering when there's no other adult in the house scares me a lot. It scares me just writing this paragraph. Because I'm home alone.. my heart is beating fast and I'm starting to sweat. I just want to end this paragraph here.

 4) STI's. After today, I have a new fear of STI's. We had a presentation from  a health care nurse and it really made me think how common, and scary this kind of stuff really is. It never worried me before.. and it's really early for me to worry about it. But she told us how common these STI's were, and it totally freaked me out.

 5) Dark. This fear is related to my fear of murder, because for some reason the dark always makes me automatically think of scary things. Monsters, silly things like that. I have always believed that in the light I could not be harmed. Because all of the dangerous and scary things would be exposed.. excuse me while I turn on the light! This fear is also known as nyctophobia, scotophobia, or lygophobia.

 6) Change. Although I have tackled many changes in my short life, I haven't handled it very well. Because, I'm not very good about change. I like routine. I don't like change. Maybe you wouldn't consider this a fear. But I do. I don't like it, it's a fear. This is also known as neophobia.

 7) 2012. I am scared to face the end of the world, even if it never comes. The thought is overwhelming... The End.

 8) Hell. Just thinking about hell gives me chills to the bone. I don't have much to say about this fear. It scares me to think about it. This fear is also known as hadephobia, stygiophobia, and stigiophobia.

 9) Losing Salvation. This isn't one of my worst fears, but it worries me from time to time. I'm always worried that anything I do can take away my salvation, ruin everything. Sometimes, well more frequently than sometimes.. I worry that anything I think, think wrong that is, can take away my salvation. It scares me.

10) Being Poor. All my life, since I could walk and talk, or even think for crying out loud. I have been afraid of becoming poor. Mostly, I've been WANTING to be rich. But that comes with the fear of being poor. It's kind of a package deal.  I think that the reason I'm scared of this is because I want so many things, I want to give back, I want to indulge, I want to be happy. I don't want to struggle like so many people who can't pay bills do. I want to enjoy life! It's rare, but some people are well-off and don't struggle as much as some people. I want to be one of those people who saves and saves.. and then one day, breaks through. And doesn't need to save anymore. Again, all of these wants comes with the additional fear of becoming poor. It would ruin me.

I hope you enjoyed this post. A couple of the fears were kind of depressing. I didn't include phobias for every fear, but I know they all have more certain names, also known as phobias. Another additional fact that I would like to add is something my Dad mentioned to me when I told him I was in the midst of writing this post. He said that about 99% of your fears in life don't come true. It's a proven fact. Google it if you want to find out more, or if you don't believe  it.

Another important note: I did not steal any information from these websites, they simply helped me to locate the phobias of different fears, and I used to lists to try and find fears that related to me.

How I manage my money.

Money is more important now then it ever has been before. There is more demand for money nowadays. If you're smart you'll save your money, because everybody knows that the demands for money are just rising. They're not nearly at their high point. This post is going to be about.. how I earn, spend, and save.... My Money.

First of all, I'm going to tell you about the many ways I earn money. I have a paper route. Which I do every Thursday after school, and every Saturday morning. I do 70 flyers on Thursday and 80 on Saturday. The Thursday papers are thick because they are flyers and paper. Mostly flyers though. With the front page and some around town news. I get paid monthly for delivering papers. They said that they're going to eventually start depositing it in my bank account for me, but for now they're giving me cheques which I like more, because then I know I'm actually getting the money. Since the weather has been getting nicer and nicer everyday, I'm getting excited to put up an iced tea stand. Or maybe a lemonade stand, or maybe both! I want to do it on my lawn, because since our house is new in the area.. people seem curious to know who lives in it. My sisters and I are all going to help our with our stands. My friend did an iced tea stand just two streets down from me with her friend, they had it up for a little under an hour and they got $10.75! They were selling each glass for 50¢, which is pretty good. They would have made 11 dollars, but my sister Nyah wanted their olympic coin.. come to think of it. She has already lost that coin that she wanted so bad!

Next I'm going to talk about how I save my money, the only thing to do with money that I'm not good at!

As I said, I make 80 dollars a month, working for the citizen. I spend that much, if not more per month! It's pretty bad. I went into Pet Land two days ago with my older sister and I ended up spending a little bit over $72.00! It's pretty crazy. My dad has been trying to help me manage my money better, but it's hard when I want so many things. He's been telling me to put 50 dollars in the bank per month, and budgeting myself with only spending 30 dollars a month. This has not worked one month yet! I keep trying though. Maybe I need to get a bigger paper route to help me fulfill all of my material needs. This paragraph was short but that's because I don't save much.

Onto the last topic now, how I spend my money! This is what I enjoy doing the most. I spend my money on many things! Some of these things are clothes (rare), dog stuff, food, video games that's pretty much it. But there's a lot of things that I want! I want roller blades, skis... let's just say a lot of things. And all those things happen to cost hundreds of dollars! This paragraph turns out shorter than I would have thought. It's not really all of the things that I spend my money on, because I don't have much of that. It's more what I want to spend my money on! I want a lot of things, that I need to get over.. But a girl wants what a girl wants.

Anyways, I'd better get going. I hope you enjoyed this post! I wish I could have made it longer and got more into it... but I've got an assignment with a deadline in Info Tech! So I'll talk to you later.

YAY! Edmond the Genius.

As you have read in my previous post from last night, all of my posts got deleted. Edmond, my best friend who is so smart. Has found a way for me to get them back, so I'm going to add them all onto here really quick. And the page is going to be full of old post, but it's just for people who haven't read them before. :) I hope this doesn't confuse you too much!

Pros and Cons of Prince George

This post is going to be pros and cons about Prince George. Starting with the Pros. It's not going to be very long. Just short explanations giving my opinions, and a paragraph about what I think could be improved. Enjoy! =)

 Pros-
- Prince George has great recreational activities and an awesome gym up at the UNBC. Prince George also has another gym called The Y which is a very popular gym.

- We have great sport teams, and a skate park. The parks around Prince George are all very nice. Some rundown but very traditional with slides and monkey bars.

- Fort George Park is a tourist attraction, not only because of the amazing sites and views, but because of the historical landmarks and the museum. It's fun for the entire family!

- There is always affordable grocers nearby, with Save on Foods in more than 3 different strip malls, and a newly renovated Wal-Mart Super Centre.

- There is great trails around Cotton Wood Island Park, and lots of room to bike or jog around in downtown Fort George Park. There's always friendly people around!

- It's a small world, you see people you know everyday! No matter where you are.

Cons-
- Prince George doesn't have the best air quality, and without good air quality what do you have?

- We're closing down a lot of schools so there won't be such a broad list of academic schools. As there is now. Click here to get the option to download the complete list of all the schools that will be shutting down for good, or simply reopening as something else.

- There is a lot more crime than there once was. There has been more stabbings and shooting. Robbery is a big crime for Prince George. Especially in the Fort George area. Always, lock everything up for your safety.

- There is a lot of litter. I never really noticed it until last week. But everywhere you go it's full of litter. It might just be that time of year when the snow has just melted. But we still need to do our part. Try picking bottles and cans around your home, or picking up garbage around your home. Don't Litter!

- Down Town isn't the best place to go. It's full of drug dealers, hookers etc. As long as you know where to stay you'll be alright. Hopefully, Down Town Prince George will get cleaned up sometime soon.

- Lots of car accidents, mostly in the winter. With ice, snow storms and what not. But people still aren't the most careful drivers. You just need to look both ways if walking or riding a bike. And if you're driving.. try to be more courteous to other drivers, and pedestrians.

That's the end of my Pro's and Con's list. I hope you enjoyed hearing my opinions. Now I'm going to make a list of a few things that I think should be improved. Short and brief.

 - Air Quality. It's a big thing, and action should be taken to improve it.
 - Crime, there's always cops out there. I just don't think they're catching people quick enough.
 - Down Town, it should be a more welcome area. A tourist attraction. Seriously, building the bridge was a waste of money. There's as much traffic as there always was, and have you heard any of your distant relatives say "Oh! Let's go on a 10 hour drive to see the bridge in Prince George, I hear it's nice and new!"

Anyways, that's the end for this post. I hope you enjoyed and I hope it wasn't to short! BYE!

Who I look up to!

The original idea for this post, and all the posts that I've been making tonight have come from Edmond. He made up 50 posts that he hoped anybody would do. So far I've completed and published 4 of them. I'm hoping to get them all finished.. but that would only happen if my posts were one sentence long. Anyways, the original idea Edmond had was 'Who I admire the most.' But I don't really admire anybody. I look up to some people. But not exactly anybody famous people or celebrities like most common people....

I look up to my older sister. I guess the reason I say that I look up to my sister Cortni is because I copy her A LOT! I guess because I like a lot of the same things she likes. I don't really know what else to write for this post.. it's way shorter than I thought it would be. I guess i just look up to her because she was a good student, and is good with understanding mine and my sisters problems. She's a good big sister. And I aspire to be like her with my sisters too! :)

I hope you enjoyed this REALLY short post! Anyways, This is most likely the last post of the night so GOOD NIGHT!

Also, visit Cortni's blog at ---> www.thebutlerslog.blogspot.com. She's a great writer! :) CHECK IT OUT!

My most Serious Injuries

The truth is, I've never really had many very serious injuries. I guess I've started this post now though. So I have to think of something. Here goes...

I guess, in truth, the most serious injury that I've ever had is... maybe bruising my tail bone. Or burning my leg on a motor bike. I'm going to tell the story of both.

                   My Burn.

It all started when my nephew Kihei was at our house. This was a long time ago. We lived in our Old, old house as we like to call it. The house is located on Brodman Road. Out near the airport. I lived here... umm, most of my life. But I had a house before this house also. Moving on, Kihei had brought his motorbike along with him because this was the thing at the time. My dad suggested I try to ride the motorbike, and I started acting all cool. Pretending that it would be no problem and pretending like I didn't need any help starting it or anything. I tried to start it myself for quite some time until my dad helped me start it up. I roared away, leaving an ominous cloud of dust in my tracks. I sped out towards the big field behind the house where we kept the horses. But for some reason, which I can't remember they were gone or in a different field. I started to go out deeper and deeper into the field, when I touched my leg to the side of the bike by accident and I burnt my leg. It wasn't really an actual burn. Just hurt. I'll always remember it though. It was on my right leg. Because  when I jumped off of the bike in alarm, the bike stopped and I couldn't start it again. So I walked back towards the house, hanging my head in shame.. until my dad took Kihei out there and started trying to get it started up, for Kihei, yet again.

            My Bruised Tail bone.

It all started when I was at horse-riding lessons. It was my first time cantering on a horse. I was scared as anyone trying anything new normally is. She decided to put me on the longe line. Which is a rope that attaches to the horses bridle and the teacher holds the other end. The bridle is the thing that goes around the horses face and contains the bit and attaches to the reins (which you hold onto.) Anyways, Nicole (our teacher) was holding the longe line and told me to go up to the canter. To go up into the canter you squeeze your outside leg into the horses belly and kiss with your lips. It was really fast at first, and it was scary. But I couldn't get the smile off of my face. It was exhilarating! I didn't really know how to hold on without bouncing all over, or tugging on her mouth too much. So I tried my hardest to hold on, but even then I was flying at least two feet off of the saddle. When we finally stopped the horse came to a really abrupt stop, and I almost flew off. But instead I landed on, what I call, the rump of the saddle. It's sort of the back of the saddle, and it curls upwards.. so you can sit more comfortably in the saddle when riding. The saddle I was using was really hard wood, so it hurt a lot. Luckily, this was the end of the lesson. My but really hurt, and I could barely get off of the horse, let alone walk. It hurt for at least a week, until it started getting a little bit better. Now, whenever I fall on my but it feels like I have bruised my tail bone all over again. It only hurts for short periods now, but even now as I sit in the chair, it doesn't hurt. But if I lean back it hurts.. I don't know why this is. And these are pretty wimpy injuries. But they're all I got so I hope you enjoyed! :) Thanks for reading.
