Shorten your links with the click of a mouse!

At first, I thought that these shortened links were just something that celebrities did, I thought that it was some way of advertising or something.. maybe you had to be a celebrity. I don't know. But I just didn't know what they were, so I asked my friend Edmond. Who didn't know either. I think he Googled it, and found this website.

http://bit.ly/ You just go to that website (I didn't shorten it) and copy and paste your link into the given space, then you press 'Enter' and your link will be shortened below. There is a lot of websites that can do this, but this is the most user-friendly. Well, that's my thought.. it's also not so... it just looks more normal. Not so spammy. I'm going to shorten a couple links for you below, just so that you have a couple examples.

This is the link to my blog- http://teagansgalaxy.blogspot.com/
This is the shortened link - http://bit.ly/9EUjhg

This is the link to youtube- http://youtube.com
This is the shortened link - http://bit.ly/cryM40

People use this shorten trick on many different social networks, and websites. Some people use it in text messages, msn, facebook, but I've seen it mainly on Twitter. On Twitter, there is a character limit of 140, so what happens if you're trying to tweet about a link that is more than 140 characters. You can't! So, this is a quick way to shorten your links, but they're still links. Lots of people use it, mostly on Twitter. But I've seen it in other places also.

Below is a picture of the website itself. You can see that it saves all of your previously shortened links, just in case you ever need to use them again, chances are.. you might. Also, once your link has been shortened, you don't even need to go to the trouble of highlighting it so that you can copy it. You simply scroll over the shortened link, and it will say 'Click to copy' then you click, and it's automatically copied. You can paste away then! Anyways, here's the picture.

I'm just a little bit confused as to what this is.. below. If you know what is is, please let me know.. picture below.

Please click on the photo to enlarge it, then comment in the comment box, and answer my question. Thanks. Just to let you know, this area of the website is below the first picture that I showed you, confusing? Sorry.

Anyways, I hope you liked this quick post, and I hope that you possibly learned something. It's just a quick trick to help you out, if you're ever limited in characters or space. Okay, bye. Next post is my one hundredth, are you excited??? I know I sure am!!!

My Day.

Okay, I'm reaching my one hundredth post, and I'm very excited. I honestly can not wait. You're going to see that I rush to get to 100, then there will not be a new post for WEEKS! Until I can make my 100th post, juuuuuust right!

First, I woke up, got dressed, changed twice, did my hair, ate breakfast, went on the computer, texted some people, and caught the bus! Once I got off of the bus I went straight to my locker. My bus normally gets there late, so I just go to my locker and wait around and talk to people until the bell actually goes. Arshdeep was almost late, as usual! But, we weren't late for Metalworks surprisingly.. we kind of wanted to be late. Metalworks is really boring. So we just walked around for a long time. Then the last bell was about to go so she started booking it to the shops rooms. We weren't late. Metalworks was pretty fun, we did absolutely nothing but talk about boys ;) for the first 20 minutes, then we helped our teacher take some tape off of some drawings and stuff. Then we cut some metal, and started to make our metal man. Mine is a metal girl though! I'm not very close to being done, but I'm ahead of some people. I have sprayed some sticky glue on it, and put my drawing onto the metal that I cut out.. it sounds confusing. Anyways.....

Break was next, I don't remember really doing anything but walking around. It was pretty boring.. so there's not much that I can say about it.

Next was Math class, we didn't do ANY math today, because we had some special presentation about Gangs in our community. There was a police officer and two young girls that were her 'assistants' or something like that. All they did was give us evil glares when we talked, it annoyed me. I don't think that they were much older than us. But they sure acted it. I guess it was there job though, so no harm done! At the end of Math, we just asked the lady questions, then the bell went and it was lunch time.

At Lunch I had to go to a Mount Robson Meeting, I'm kind of reconsidering even going on the trip, I don't know.. just re-CONSIDERING! Underling the 'considering' part of that. I ate a cinnamon bun, and I drank a Danactive. It was the strawberry flavor. YUMMY! We just walked around outside during Lunch hour, sat down for a bit. I had to help Arshdeep finish some homework that she didn't finish. After Lunch was......

English, Arshdeep is not in this class, but we walk there together. We had a sub, well the sub works at our school.. but doesn't teach or class. Get it? Sort of... Anyways he was really nice, he had an awesome approach, and a great way of teaching! It was really interesting, and I learned stuff. Well, a lot of stuff.

After English, was French. We had a real sub this time. It was fun. Everybody wasted a lot of time talking. We wasted at least a half hour. Talking. Well, not 'we' just the 'guys.' The sub let us play silent ball at the end of class. It was pretty fun. But this one really mean dumb guy in my class, threw the ball at my face! It hurt! But I didn't say anything. Just gave him 'The Glare.'

After French.. it was time to go home. I had somebody to wait with, because Arshdeep's mom was really late. Apparently she was shopping for furniture or something at the time.. so she waited with me. We walked around, inside and outside. But she was freaking out the whole time because her mom was always there at least five minutes early! And Arshdeep couldn't get a hold of her on her cell phone. So obviously she would be worried. Luckily, her mom came right before my bus... so I didn't have to wait alone at all today! I went straight to my bus, and went home. When I got home, there was a lovely surprise waiting there for me... NEWSPAPERS! My dad helped me again, so that made it easier! :)

Anyways, I'm being sentenced to bed! It's my bed time is what I mean. Okay, Good Night. I hope you liked this quick post. BYEEE! I hope this wasn't too boring. Adios! =)

Stride Mystery Gum!

A couple days ago, my sister told me that she had a surprise for me in her pocket. Even though it's been a long time... I automatically assumed that it was 'Stride Mystery Gum' in her pocket. I was very enthusiastic, I was practically yelling through the phone. She told me that she would bring it to me as soon as she got off work. So, I waited impatiently for a while, until 4:35 PM when she got home. I was instantly downstairs in front of her demanding the gum (in a nice way of course.) She gave me the gum, and I ran upstairs to photograph it before I went away at it. Here are the pictures that I took--

In the wrapper still. Are you liking the wrapper, Oh! And I forgot to mention that my sister only gave me one piece so I don't have the package to take a picture of for you. I also had to savor this piece like it was the last piece on the face of the EARTH!!

The wrapper when the gum was was in my mouth! :) Just so that you could see it more clear.

This is me trying to think what it tastes like, this face is not the most attractive... but I was honestly stump. It really IS a new taste altogether! It's like the name is on the tip of my tongue. The smell is familiar but I just, it's confusing.

Trying to blow a bubble. I look really concentrated! HAHAHA! Probably because that gum is so small in your mouth, you can barely wrap it around your tongue to blow a bubble. The gum is thin too.

Chewing the gum, and thinking about it too. This is a random picture. I was just SUPER bored.

  Chewing again. LOL! :)

Smelling the wrapper, I still have the wrapper by the way. It's a really tough one, trying to think what it tastes like. The smell is like citrus, but the taste is just.. I'm not sure. It doesn't taste like it smells. It's weird!! HAHA Anyways, I'm confusing even myself as I type this.

I hope you like this random gum post. Below is a picture of the actual gum package, just to give you another idea of what it looks like.

Mall Haul!

Hello, I was at the mall today after school. And, I purchased a couple things. First I got two CD's Justin Bieber's 'My World' and Justin Bieber's other CD 'My World 2.0' I haven't listened to them yet.. but I have opened them, and I didn't find the golden ticket. Unfortunately... Anyways, then next thing that I got was a new cell phone case. I recently got a new cell phone, and it came with a black case.. that I despised. I was absent-mindedly chewing on it one day, when it snapped in half.. it's no longer usable. So, I decided it was time for a new case. I originally wanted the pink one, that a lot of Blackberry girls have! But they didn't have one. So, it was between dark purple and lime green. I chose dark purple. I'm going to show you a picture of it. I'm not sure if it fits my phone right.. but the lady said it did. I'm really liking it though! :) Anyways, below are some pictures of the things I got at the mall.

One of my new CD's, can't wait to listen to it!! Going to save it for when I'm doing homework!

My other CD! YAAAY! :) Unfortunately, no golden ticket was inside of this CD! LOL, I'll try again.. but I don't want a million of his CD's LOL! Maybe, I'll see.. buy it as a gift for someone, and check for the ticket before I give it to them, that would be mean.

Last.... and least!! :) My new cell phone case on my cell phone, and off.

This is a picture of the case on my cell phone.. nice? I don't think it fits right, do you?

The back of my phone, with the case on. The stickers are on the phone not the case. My friend's teacher got them from the Oprah Winfrey show, and gave them to me, how special am I? I need to take them off soon though, maybe put them in my forever box..

 Without my phone in it.

The back of it, it has a pretty cool pattern on it, I like it. It's not AS visible in reality. The picture really brings it out.

Did you like this post? Maybe not.. but it's alright! I'm going to be doing maybe one more post for tonight. Only a few more posts until my 100th post! YAY! :)

Edmond's Origami.

Hello world! My friend Edmond, who you might remember from some of my older posts, (Origami Master, and others where I refer to his blog.) Made me some beautiful Origami and bought me some. I've already done a post on two of the things he made me himself. But I decided to show them again in this post. I'm not going to do explanations about the pictures, so it's going to be mainly a picture post. I'll just let you know which ones he purchased and which ones he made... Enjoy! =)

You haven't seen this one before. Edmond bought this one for me in Calgary.. how could somebody even fold this. I can't make a perfect normal sized one, let alone.. this teeny tiny one (reminds me of a song I know 'eenie meenie' LOL) Anyways, Edmond bought this with his own money, and I thought that it was just so nice of him to think of me!

This one is even tinier, and it's different paper, more colored. Aren't these pictures turning out clear? I took them all at just the right angle. I keep both of these small paper cranes in my specials purple memory box that I painted and created myself. Edmond also bought this one for me!

You've seen this one before, Edmond made this flying ninja star for me. With two colors of paper that go great together. This ninja star can transform into a frisby, it's really cool! He spent a lot of time on it. Thanks Edmond :)

You've seen this rose in my other post also. It's a little flattened up there, because I don't have a mini vase or anything to put it in, but Edmond made this one for me also. It's purple, and it's a rose.. flower. If you can't tell that already. It's not permanently flattened out, as soon as I take it down, it's back to normal. So don't worry Edmond. :)

Anyways, that's all of Edmond's origami. I hope you enjoyed this quick picture post, and a special 'Thank-You' shout-out to Edmond, for making this post post-able. And for making, and buying me all of this wonderful origami!!

Twitter.

Today at school we were given a presentation about internet usage, texting, and a lot of other safety precautions to use when you're active on the internet. She taught me a lot. But I'm not here to write about her presentation which was very good, and not the slightest bit boring. I'm here to talk about what it inspired me to do. Even though I know it was not her intention. I decided to make a Twitter account. I've been considering it for a long time, but her presentation reminded me that I had been wanting to make an account. Then I got a bbm (blackberry message) from my brother's girlfriend, about something that Paris Hilton had 'tweeted' about Justin Bieber. I then knew that I wanted and was going to get a Twitter account.

So, I got home, made an account, and got going on it. I followed Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Jessica Alba, Jackie Chan, Edmond Lo, Kat Von D, My Brother, My brother's girlfriend Kasia, and some other friends and stars. I also followed the singer/band whatever he is 'Meatloaf' because he's coming to our town soon, and I really want to see if he tweets about our town. And what he thinks about the crowds, and the city itself. I'm really liking Twitter, you can follow me at TeaganParke, how original, I know, right?

Anyways, I updated my bio, changed my picture TWICE, tweeted a total of 17 tweets, re-tweeted Justin Bieber ONCE! And changed my theme, THREE times. Is it safe to say that I'm addicted. I don't know, it's too early to know. But I can feel it coming, what I can see of a rising addiction is coming. I also downloaded twitter onto my phone, but it's 25¢/min. So, I don't think I'll be using that. But, I got the number to text Twitter, and it will make the text into a Tweet on my account. I have unlimited texting, so I don't think it costs money. I have a total of six followers, and I follow 19 people. But, my brother and Kasia have yet to follow me. So soon enough I will have 8 followers, impressive!

That's pretty much all I have to say, I'm liking Twitter a lot, I don't like it more or less than Facebook. They're equal in my book. I think that Twitter helps me to get connected more easily, but Facebook is more used by my peers. The only thing is that on Twitter, I feel so connected, it's so live! It gives me an adrenaline rush just thinking about it. So much power... That's what the lady at the presentation talked about. We have the power of the world in our hands.

Did you know, that in a common cell phone, we have more power than NASA had in 19__ to fly to the moon. Isn't that surprising. And, it wasn't even that early in the 1900's. If I remember correctly it was around 1976! Impressive, I know!! Think about it.

Sorry for such a short post, I just felt that I didn't want to break my record of post per day... which reminds me.. I haven't posted on my IT8 Blog in a long time! I'd better get on that tomorrow, or tonight. In the seven minutes of precious computer time I have left. I think I'll pass. Okay, BYE! =) Hope you enjoyed this post. Follow me on Twitter!

Picnik and Polyvore.

I have recently discovered a website called Picnik, basically it's a website that allowed people to upload their photos and completely edit them. I'm talking completely, you can pretty much do anything. Whether you're a premium member or not. You can become a member easily enough, for a small fee. Members can do the coolest things, as per the usual (cortni.) I'm going to show you a couple of things that member can do, and maybe somethings that people who are not members can do.

The first picture is going to be something that only members can do, blemish remover, and air brush. It's pretty cool, and comes in handy. Check this transformation out!

Okay, this is before airbrush... just analyze the picture, find all of the blemishes... hint- it's not that hard ;) !

You can't see very well, because I couldn't save it, as I'm not a premium member. But do me a favor and click between this picture, and this page.. then scroll up to the first picture (without airbrush) and let me know what you think! Amazing isn't it!

Now, I'm going to show you a couple of things that I did not being a member, they're not so extravagant, but they're okay!

I did this one, it sort of sucks, because of all the different themes, and whatnot. You know, color changes. The quote, I made up myself.. inspired by Picnik ;) It say " who needs to be airbrushed, when you can be natural? " :)

I did this one also, well I'll just stop repeating myself and put it all out there, I did all of the pictures that I'm going to be showing you. I simply fuzzed out the image except for my messed up face, added a flower in the corner. And wrote an inspirational word. The first one that came to mind was "BELIEVE!" I was thinking of making it longer, but it just didn't look right. This one word fit just fine :)

Can you see the elephant? This one was going to be better.. but I didn't have much time. I just wanted to do a silly random one. I camouflaged a little elephant on this picture.. do you see it? I'm not that great with the whole matching colors scheme, notice how the letters in the top left-hand corner are completely different shade than his jacket? Anyways, did you find the elephant. Let me know in the comments section.

Isn't she gorgeous, can you guess what I did for this picture.. if you thought "Wow, her teeth are white!" Then you were mistaken, that is another one of the many glorious features of picnik. It has a "Teeth Whitening" option. You simply drag the mouse over the areas of teeth that you want to whiten.. and TA-DA! Instant shiny. Now, of course her teeth were almost this white before.. but she still wanted to shine them up a bit.

I'm not really sure what I did to this picture, I think I altered the saturation level slightly. Doesn't look too different, but if you look to the right of my posts area, you'll see that this picture was about 30* grayer before I picniked it. I also rounded the edges, just for the looks.

My last one, I personally think it looks better with all around color. But this is a picture of my dad and my sister. I came up with the quote myself, and I added the little sticker of a family. I hope you like it, I think I might have whitened their teeth also.. maybe not. Actually, I don't think I did whiten their teeth for this one. WOW! Nice teeth Daddy and Nyah! I like how in this picture, they're both covered in mud, and they're all sweaty.. but it's still a beautiful moment of family captured by a camera. I guess I was there at the right time. Don't they both look so happy. Color really brings out a picture. Which is why I'm not happy that the grey level in this picniked photo is taking the life out of it. Anyways, they look happier than ever!

That was the last picture, I did a couple more.. but I couldn't save them because.. again I'm not a premium member. I hope you enjoyed seeing all the wonders of Picnik. Now, I'm going to talk to you about Polyvore.

Polyvore is another photo editing site, in a different way. It is more centered on helping people to create collages virtually, create different outfits.. just let their heart out. You can add all different objects and crop, rotate, and resize them. It's not so much photo editing as it is making collages. I'll show you some cool examples that people have done online Polyvore, then I'll show you some of the not-so-cool ones that I have made. Here we go.

This is just a 'set' (as they're called on polyvore) that I found on the main login page. I like it a lot, and thought of it creative. So I decided to show it to you guys. Do you like?

I rather like this one, a lot actually. Can you take a guess why? As you can see, it's mostly girls that use polyvore. But I do have a couple of 'guy friends' that create sets on here, and have an account also. They DO have guy items.

I like this one because it is so creative, the way she got the blank outline of the coffee cup, and filled it in with eye shadows and other varieties of makeup. How original, and altogether creative? Wouldn't you say so yourself?

Now I'm going to show you some of the sets I've created. I'll show you a couple.. TWO! That's it :) If you wish to see all of my sets, the bad and the good. Then copy this link into your URL bar. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile?id=743370

It will automatically take you to my polyvore account and show you all of the sets I've created since I joined.. which was just over a year ago. I'm not that dedicated to it anymore though. So there's not that many. I think I'm going to start up again though :) Anyways, we should be getting onto the photos now, shan't we?

I just wanted to make a blue collage set, I'll copy and paste the description that I made about it for my polyvore account.

This one is alright.. didn't have that much time.. I had it saved as a draft at one point because I had given up on it. But then today I decided to get started on it! ;)

Keep in mind that I put all of the words on here, arranged all of the fonts and what not. Do you like? Comment in the comment box and let me know which one you like the best, when you're finished reading this post. Thanks :) !

This one is one of the betters ones that I've created, the theme is blue and green. Once again, I created all of the letters and fonts, and once again AGAIN here is the description from my profile.

I kind of just felt like doing something using the colors green and blue for themes. This was my second set, I'm getting.. better! ;)

This one is obviously a pink theme, here is the description.

this one is inspired by ed hardy kindda... hahah :P enjooy..

This one took a while, I think I added too many things... one picture is a little amount. I didn't use enough space up, do you still like? Here's the description from when I posted it. It's kind of long.

Tell me if you like it, or if you think i should change anything or take somehting off.. me myself.. I think it has a lot of writing and a messed up format.. but I'm positive i will get better hahah :) Most of the sets i see are AMAZING then i look at mine and I'm like "Woah! I have a lot to learn!" And it's true.. I DO! But I will!

Here is a correction comment that I posted on this one.

oops, when I was actually making it the music note had no white background.. it looked better like that.. but i guess it's still alright! :)

Please comment on this post letting me know which one was your favorite. Or go to my account at http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile?id=743370 to view all of my sets. I'm going to get to work on one right now. Or, maybe I'll save it for tomorrow when I'm not so tired. I hope you liked this post, and didn't find it boring at the slightest. BYE! =) Maybe give polyvore or picnik a try next time you're bored. You never know, you may come to enjoy it. ;) !

Thoughtful Picture of the Day.

Try to remember back, waaaay back.. to that post I wrote about...... normal. Do you remember what you first thought when you saw the title, do you remember what you thought when you were done reading. Probably not, but can you remember the last time you felt self-conscious, that's not a hard one.. is it?

Lots of people are self conscious, I just wanted to show you a little bit of proof that it's mostly teenagers who care, how average they are, how normal they are.. what people think of them. Think about it, what was your first guess... what age group did you think was most likely to Google how skinny or fat they should be? I know for a fact you didn't think it was elementary kids.. did you think adults? That only leaves one option. Us, the youth of today. Teenagers.

I was recently on the computer, randomly Googling away, when I happened to type in 'What is the average weight...' Now, of course my sentence was not yet finished.. but Google was already one step ahead of me. Google showed me all of the most searched questions regarding average weight, can you take a guess what I saw... I'll show you.

Enlarge it, I dare you. All of these reference websites included either troubled teens saying that they didn't know what the average weight was, or troubled teens complaining about their diets, and weight loss activities. There was also the odd concerned parent giving the children a lecture about how they're beautiful no matter how much or little they weigh. Typical parenting. Why do people care what they look like? Why do WE care what WE look like for that matter? I'm not saying that I'm not one of those troubled teens that thinks they weigh too much, or they're too skinny. I'm asking WHY! What do you think?

Please think about this picture tonight, or tomorrow, maybe in a week.. but make sure you take the time.. maybe it will change your way of eating. Maybe you'll find that you're not dieting as much... just think about it.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I would love for you to tell me your thoughts in a RE: post. Just send me a link to your RE: post in the comment area below if you do end up doing one. Thanks!

I finally learned how to hack.. kind of!

Well, my Club Penguin account kept getting hacked.. this isn't really related to the topic in anyway so I'm going to move on. I started reading this book 'Evil Genius' and one of the, well let's call it sub-topics, is that this little boy Cadel is pretty much a Pro Hacker. I've always wished that I was able to hack into some kind of computer database... maybe get into someones account without knowing their password on Facebook. Just for the thrill of it. Change up their status.. you know, the usual Facebook account hacking drill. Anyways, my friend Edmond recently did a post about how to 'fake hake' an account.. I'm not going to re-explain everything because he's SO DARN GOOD AT IT! So I'll just post the link for you, it's really quite cool how he explains it. So I hope you get the chance to check it out.

http://edmondscenter.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-pretend-to-hack-website.html

This is sort of a revenge post, slash showing you what I can do now that I have learned how to fake hack somebody. It's not really even a hack.. but that's what I'm calling it. Below is a picture of what I did to Edmond's blog.. because he did the same thing to me in his 'How to pretend to hack' post.

LOL, it's not as funny as what he did about me, my next hacking post will be me hacking my sisters blog. It's www.thebutlerslog.blogspot.com. I'm most likely going to be mainly making fun of her blog name.. ahaha, not that it's too bad.. just weird!! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post.

If money could talk...

If money could talk it would be a wonderful thing. If money could talk, we would be jealous. If money could talk it would have been around the world and back again!

If money could talk, it would have been living like tomorrow is it's last day on earth. Money has probably done more than me with it's life! I personally think that if money could talk we would all sit in a circle around a fire and gander at all of the wonderful stories that it would tell. Wouldn't that be an amazing thing.

If only money could talk.. I think that this is an expression that lots of people use, maybe not in a day-to-day conversation, but I've heard it casually used quite a few times. I've never really gotten to listen to the real meaning of this saying.....
" If only money could talk..."

In this post I'm going to try to explain to you in my own words, what I think the meaning of this expression truly is.

I think that this expression is meant to show us just how many stories money could tell if it could talk. Just how many places money has been. There's many areas that people use this saying. Personally, I've never gotten the chance to use it in an everyday conversation.. but some people do. I'm kind of having a writers block right now, but I have a couple more quick things to say before I give up on this topic all together.

First of all, some people could look at this in a completely different way, and use it for parenting. You know, some children just can't keep coins out of their mouths? Well, some parents might differ and use this quote as a parenting line. I don't think it's very common though. This is just a mind theory of mine. They could tell their children 'What if money could talk?' Hinting that money has been in many places, and you never know where.. unless money could talk. Well, it makes more sense in my head!

My next theory, is that it's a way to express how important money is. It's so useful that's it's been used so much, that it's been all over the place. Therefore, has a lot of stories to tell. Try thinking of it this way, money is so important to us that we use it all the time. And, it's constantly getting traded between owners. Now that I think about it, money is never owned. Only temporarily. Think about that. Anyways, since we use the money so much.. it could be in Cuba one day and Canada the next. See what I mean? Well, maybe you don't.. this is all kind of rough as I'm typing it out. Onto the next and final theory.

This is the most realistic theory that I could come up with, and it's also my opinion.

It's just a saying, quit searching for a deeper meaning. And live with it! It's a saying, exactly what it sounds like. If it's "If only money could talk..." Then obviously it means somebody wants money to talk, because it would have amazing stories. Hence the 'if only.' The rest is pretty self-explanatory.

I hope you liked this post. It was pretty short, but believe it or not.. I spent five days working on it. HAHA! I just kept on giving up, because I would get bored.. then come back and work on a theory. I'm aiming for quality not quantity ;)

Already Connected.. what is this!?!?

Has Facebook ever given you the message that says "Already Connected?" Well, if so.. what is it? Is it some kind of glitch. If you've never received this message then I'll tell you what it is and how it happens. Say you're going to 'Like' a page, so you click the button... but then a message will appear that says " You are already connected.." Blah! Blah! Blah! This has happened to me a lot. I was going to do a post about it a long time ago, but I decided to do one today because it's quick and easy. (How lazy am I?) Well, below is a picture of me receiving this message.

It frustrates me because I've joined this group so long ago that I don't even remember, so when I go to 'Like' it, I don't remember when I've joined it.

That's the end of the post, I'd love to hear about your 'Already Connected' experiences. You may not think it's that interesting of a post, but if you're in need of a quick five minute post idea.. this would be the one! =) Sorry for the short post. BYE!

My Facebook Inbox.

I just felt like giving you guys an idea of what my Facebook inbox looks like, there's a lot of messages.. I use the inbox more often than not. Whenever the chat is down, this is where I turn. This blog is pretty much just going to be a picture post... one picture.

These aren't all of my messages, but it's quite a few. I have three pages and I just deleted almost ten more the other day. I blacked out the writing because that's classified. I hope you like this short post ;P !

Blog-This!

In Info Tech, my teacher showed us some sort of commercial where he talked about Google Chrome a lot, I must have been mistaken because I thought that he said that there was a Google Chrome update. Anyways, I figured out that there is not an update. I found this out the hard way.. I searched all over trying to find this so-called 'update.' Finally, the deal breaker was on Google.

I type in ' Is there an update for Google Chrome? ' This is the page it brought me to...

I clicked on the link that would show me the add-ons for Google Chrome. I found an interesting one called 'Blog-This' I decided to try it out.. this is what the description of it said.

Post to Blogger with just one click

This extension adds a Blog This! button to the toolbar that you can click to create a new Blogger post. The new post is pre-populated with a link to the web page you're on, as well as any text you've highlighted on that page. Edit the post to your liking and post it instantly to your blog! Learn more about Blogger.

I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do with it.. I click on it and this is what is shows me.

It's like an instant post machine.. well, that's what I'm calling it. I hope you try this Google Chrome add-on out. You don't even have to open up blogger to post! Very cool! I'm liking it.. even though I'm not using it at the moment. One more thing I just want to quickly throw in here.. why does Blogger not have a word count, and is there a way I can get on for when I editing and creating posts? I know Edublogs has a word count, and I should have mentioned this in my Edublogs vs. Blogger post.. but I forgot to. So here it is. Does anybody know? Maybe there already is one, I just can't find it. Okay, that's it. I hope you enjoyed this litte mini, itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny add-on review! ADIOS! =)

What my weekends shaping out to look like.

My weekends not looking too interesting, but I just thought I would let you know what it's looking like. So far, I'm going to be delivering papers tomorrow morning, and then I'm free all day until later that evening when I have to babysit until after midnight. I'm not sure if I'm going to sleep at their house or come home, because they live like... SUUPER close to my house. Within seconds of my house actually. Anyways, I've got absolutely nothing official planned for Sunday. A lot of people have been asking me to hang out and I've been replying with "Maybe Sunday!" But on Sunday I will figure out whether I'm going to be hanging out with somebody or just sitting at home on the computer blogging. I like that solution. I've done enough posts tonight to cover this entire weekend. But I'm still going to try and fit some posting time in here and there this weekend. The weekend seems short when I put it into text format. It seems boring, I wish I had more to tell you but I truly don't. Maybe I'll have more to tell you Sunday night if I do a post about what I ACTUALLY did this weekend. Sorry that this post is so short.. I wish that I had something to link it with but my day today was actually really boring. Except that it was my first Metalworks day, which I've already covered in a separate post. I think I'm going to make possibly ONE MORE post tonight. Jeez, I'm so kind hearted. I'm a push over. I didn't even want to make a single post tonight, but this blog got the best of me.. anyways. BYEE! =) Sorry for such a very short post. OH SO SHORT!

Famous Shell House!

When I was in an island off of the shore of Cancun, I can't remember the name, we were driving around in a Golf Cart looking at big, cool houses along the road. They were building a lot of new houses also. It was a really great experience. Anyways, there was one house that caught all of our eyes. So, we parked on the side of the road, and got out to take some pictures. Our pictures aren't that great because we couldn't get that close up. But, the whole reason I titled this post 'Famous Shell House!' is because I searched it up on Google images, and there was a lot of results that popped up. It was very surprising. So, I'm going to post some pictures. It's a very interesting house, I just wanted to share it with you! =)

OH! I remember the name of the island.. I'd rather live on this island than Cancun.. it's close to Cancun though. It's called Isla Mujeres. Well, I think that's how you spell Mujeres. Well, onto the pictures.

This is more of a closeup, isn't it cool. Can you tell what kind of shell it is! I'm going to put a wider picture below.

Here's the shell house that we saw, the above one is the wrong one, I just realized that this house is a rental vacation house.. so different people rent it when they go on vacations to Cancun. This would be cool. I think it would be cool to build a unique house like this. I like the mini shell to the left it's a nice touch. Now I'll tell you the features of this house. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 half bath. It's pretty small. But you'll be out site seeing, right? It's just a rental house. It can sleep 4 people though. Two people per bedroom. Some amenities that it includes are a pool, a balcony, air-conditioning, and it is near the ocean. The bedrooms are also King Sized. I was trying not to over flow this post with pictures.. but I just found pictures of inside the shell house, and I'm really excited because I haven't seen it before! It looks kind of squishy but it's a very cute house. Enjoy!! =)

This is the eating area/sitting area. I'ts squishy, but you would not have a huge family staying here! And remember you'll be site-seeing!

This is the sitting room from above, do you like it? I do, I like the windows, the colors are nice too. It looks cozy even though it's made of concrete, I think...

This is the bathroom, isn't it cool! It's like they carried the whole shell theme into the inside of the house! Cool, isn't it.. you can see some shell detail for faucets. Interesting!

Here is a close up of some more bathroom shell detail! I found this very unique and interesting! It's just creative in all different ways.

This is the bed, doesn't it look cool. You're probably thinking that the bed doesn't look comfy, but I'm thinking it's a mattress. They're not going to make you sleep on concrete!!! I like the headboard, and the mats on the floor. Again, the shell theme is making it's way into the interior of the house!

This is the pool, I'm pretty sure it's in the back of the house, the ocean is barely visible in this picture over the back of the pool. But, you would have an amazing view! There's also a view from the front of the house to the ocean. Surrounded by loveliness!

This is the Isla Mujeres island. I just thought I'd show it to you to give you an idea, you can see in this overhead image that it's a little lagoony around the island, but there's a fairy that goes back and forth from Isla Mujeres and Cancun constantly all day! I think it's every 15 or 30 minutes. So, it's not that long to amazing shopping, theater entertainment and great swimming.

I hope you enjoyed this post. It was a little over loaded with pictures. These pictures were all taken from Google Images. Adios! =)
