My True Love.

Hello People, as you may know already. Tomorrow is April 1st. I'm excited about this for two reasons.. first of all. I'm pulling a prank on my friend Devin. And second, I get to use my new bus pass for the first time. I'm so excited because I was having to use little coupon things before. That basically just paid the bus fare. But, I needed a new one for every ride. Because you deposit them when you get on the bus. So here is a picture of my new bus pass. With the bus pass you can go wherever you want because it pretty much is worth as many bus rides as you want for all of April. You can get them for every month. But you have to return it and get a new month card every month. That is why I was using coupons. Because you can't get a March card in the middle of the month.. so I was using those until now. Tomorrow is officially my first day without the coupons! IM COUPON FREE! :D Just in time too, I was running out. Anyways this post is going to be about my school supplys. I was hoping to do a 'My Day' post. But I don't have enough steam. And since this post is going to be mostly pictures and short descriptions it is the perfect backup post! Okay, here we go.

Okay, so me and my Dad were supposed to get a tour at Duchess Park Secondary School, you know the new school is all the new rave! So, he got us this appointment with this teacher he knew through some other thing. And the first time we tried going, which was last week she wasn't there (we found out today she was outside, and came in right after we had left.) Today, she was just too busy to squeeze us in. We could have wandered but I want the first time I see it to be a tour. And you guys will get a post about my visit there hopefully. After we found out that we were going to be going back next wednesday for our third attempt at our tour we headed to subway because I was hungry. I tried out new bread that my friend Arshdeep always has and it was really good! It was Italian Herbs and cheese, with only ham, orange cheddar cheese, lettuce and cucumbers. My dad says I like everything so... blah! That's the word he uses. I don't like any sauces or anything. It annoys me when I say no to sauces of any kind and they say "Are you sure, mayo, ranch..." And they list off every flippin' sauce in the store! Anyways, after that we went to Tim Hortons because my dad wanted to get some timbits for my sisters. Then when we got through the drive-thru and I still had not finished my foot long sandwich he said I just had to eat quick before we got home, because he didn't want to make my sisters jealous. We were almost home and he brought up something about needing to go to Staples. I remembered that I needed a couple things from there and I quickly agreed, so we popped a U-ey and headed back over to the direction of Duchess Park School. When we went in Staples our first stop was at a Giant Calculator that caught our eye. My sister Keera has a giant eraser and pencil. So I thought this would be a cool thing to add to her collection. We didn't decided to buy it right away, but eventually we did get it. It was kind of pricey. It ended up costing $20.00! At the end of the post I will add all of the pictures. Then we went and photo-copied all of the stuff that my Dad needed photo-copied, and he bought some plastic covers for them. Then while he was paying for that, I started to look for what I needed. I had a lot of stuff in my hands, but somehow I managed to narrow it down to only buying the items listed below.

-Hard cover notebook
-Sticky pad Page markers
-Pack of sharpies to kick start my collection
-Green .5" binder for Gym class, and next term elective (Metalworks)
-Pink 1" binder for Math. Because my binder at the moment is way too big.
-Decal mechanical pencils
-Refills of 0.7" led. All my pencils are that size
-Five Star 200 page refill paper
-Note Cards for my public speaking (really cool ones)

The picture option is not working for me right now, so I'll have to post pictures tomorrow! Hope you didn't get too bored with this post. Below I will explain the title choice for this post a little bit.

The reason for the title 'My True Love' is that I LOVE picking out school supplies. It's so much fun. I love the idea of new school supplies, to me it symbolizes a new year. I like to get my mom to buy my school supplies really early so I can organize it all perfectly. But this year she bought it all the night before school started! It sucked. I didn't even get to go pick them out with her. Even though she told me I could. Anyways, the whole idea is that I absolutely love school supplies, and it really makes me mad when people disrespect their binders etc. Because somebody had to pay for them. And they ARE expensive. Except at Superstore, they always have really good deals there. Especially about a week after school has already started, that's when Superstore has their big Blowout sales. Such as .99 cents a binder! It's unreal! :D I LOVE SCHOOL SUPPLY SHOPPING!

That's all I have to say for this post. Here is a list of posts to come!

Hoarding?

Hello, and I'm sorry I haven't posted anything very much lately. But as you may remember from my earlier posts I am now in Info Tech. It's my latest elective. In Info Tech you get a new e-mail address and blog. I don't like the blog server at ALL! It absolutely sucks. It's so hard to make posts, and it's just plain outdated! Anyways, I should say something nice about it.. it's a great way for teachers to add students to their account, it's like one big network of blogs. I don't know.. but I think they pretty much invented it for that! Here's the link to my blog. I only have two posts. We don't do one everyday, we weren't even supposed to post the second one until tomorrow.. but he said if I was 'keen enough' I could do it. The link is to the right ---> Teagan's IT8 Blog Make your own edublog here --->Edublogs! On to the hoarding.. I hoard a lot. I start a lot of collections. Right now I've got a couple on the go.. starting with TicTac case collection, Mighty Beans, and Sharpies. :) I have taken some pictures of my TicTac and Mighty Bean collections. I'll start with the Tic Tacs!

This isn't even half of my actual TicTac collection, the rest of them are at my old house on Musa Rd. I have a 100 pack of Tic Tacs (I ate them all) at my old house also, I'm going to get them in the summer though.. so I hope I can still do a post then!

Just another picture of my Tic Tac collection. I have a lot more.. lost all over the place. I wish I could find them. :) You would be amazed. This is pretty wimpy LOL! Notice all the dirt. We need to sweep. LOL

Next is my Mighty Bean collection, if you don't know what these are then here's a short description from my point of view about what they are.

Mighty beans come in all different colorand they have all different kinds of animated faces and bodys on them, they are available in most department stores such as, Wal-Mart and London Drugs. They are actually made as collectible toys! They have some sort of metal ball in them and they roll around. The cool part is that they bounce around in your hand every time you breath because your hand moves ever so slightly, it's pretty cool. The reason I started collecting these is because they're cheap (if purchased in moderation) and they're really cute, and cool to have. Maybe when I grow up I will pass my collection down to my kids! That would be cool! :D This is a little bit too long of a definition, I'm done now.

The pictures below are not only of my mighty beanz, I don't have too many kind of alike my Tic Tac collection, but it's slowly growing. Anyways, below are the Mighty Beanz, mine and Keera's mine are in the back row. We both have the same amount, just to let you know. I started the family fad of having Mighty Beanz, Nyah and Brynn also bought some.. but they lost theirs :( what a waste. I know.

There is the merged mighty bean collection. If you look close enough there is two short and fat beanz, those are Super Ultra Rare Beanz, they're very collectible. The beanz rank from 'Common' 'Rare' and 'Super Ultra Rare' I think that each pack of six mighty beans comes with a Super Ultra Rare bean, but not the three pack. By the way, there is (to my knowledge) common super ultra rare beanz!! haha :D It makes sense if you read it slowly. There is more than 150 different Mighty Beanz out there to collect and me and Keera plan to collect them all!! :D

This is where I temporarily keep my two collections, until I get the rest of the Tic Tac collection, I'll need a waay bigger box. I have a box at home. In beaverly. But, I don't have it now :(! I made this box, below is a picture of the painted and simply decorated lid. My sister Brynn made one two I'll show you both of them.

This is mine, I painted the lines behind the bees, and I painted all around the box. It was really fun, and I think we'll be doing something similar on easter weekend, because my dad's friend is super creative and we do crafts at her house and we might go there this weekend! FUN! :D

This is my sister Brynn's box that she made. She made it for memories. I didn't look inside but I'm pretty sure it's empty LOL! She's putting a picture of her in between the two bees though. Which is something I've been meaning to do to mine also!! LOL! I'm such a procrastinator. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post. And here is a short video (not so short) to finish off the post. I saved it for last so that it would cheer you up Edmond. I hope it does!

The Golden Arches!

Well, today I'm going to write about McDonalds. I'm in Info Tech, but this post deserves it's own space!

First of all, I'm going to address the oh so common conversation topic about McDonalds being very unhealthy. I agree that it probably isn't the best thing to be eating day after day. But still, it's a good treat to have once in a while. The concern that people mostly have with McDonaldsis how fatty and unhealthy it is. I agree with them a hundred percent. But if you're having McDonalds once a month it's not a problem, to me! Even twice a month could be okay. It's all about portions and currency! To me, I don't think that McDonalds should be so penalized. But I'm sure a good, thorough documentary about the McDonalds corporation. Just like Food Inc. If you haven't seen or heard about it then I really think that you should check it out or google it. Another thing I wanted to quickly mention about McDonalds is that (in Canada atleast) they have very high competition with Tim Hortons. If you haven't yet noticed.. last year around the same time Tim Hortons released their roll up the rim to win contest. McDonalds started giving away free coffee, and again, if you haven't notice McDonalds AGAIN started giving away free coffee. My dad was getting this free coffee from McDonalds, until, and I don't know why.. I let him know about the reoccurring event that ever so mischievously reappeared this year yet again! He just.. stopped getting the free coffee from McDonalds and went back to his usual over obsessive Tim Hortons coffee purchase routine. I don't know why, so don't blame me. LOL, anyways Info Tech is over so I need to go, I will edit this post tonight! Hope you enjoyed.

Edmond Lo IS Origami Master

This post is in honor of the Origami MASTER, formerly known as Edmond Lo. If you check out his blog he often has posts that show his true art for origami. You may view his blog here --->Origami Master! He recently made me some origami and gave it to me today at school! It's awesome that he could make this. Below is a brief description ALL about it.

Edmond basically made me a ninja star, made of origami.. but he made it cooler. SOMEHOW (who knows how) he made it able to transform into a frisbee. It's really quite amazing. He made a rose also, I haven't received it yet but there's pictures on his blog. And it is picture perfect. Anyways, continuing about the transforming star. It's amazing.. below are pictures of the star.. and pictures of it once I transformed it. There's a lot of pictures.. but I just wanted you guys to see the true beauty of the origami he made from all angles. An ordinary ninja star would take Edmond 2 minutes TOPS! But this magic transforming piece of art that he made for me took him 40 minutes, and he had to use twelve pieces of special origami paper to create it!!! A usual ninja star would have had 4 points (corners), but the one he made me had a total of 8 (pointy corners). He also chose really great colors. They look awesome together. Anyways, view the photos below.

                               Not yet transformed.

                      Closer view, still not transformed.

                            Transformed into the frisbee

This picture was meant to show the dimension of the frisbee.

Failbooking..

Hello people, I recently discovered this website and it is pretty much the place that all those groups on facebook get the ideas to make you suggest friends to join to group! It's really funny, and addicting. So try not to get too into it. This is a random post, and I'm posting another short post tonight!

Funny Facebook Fails

Alright, I hope these gave you a couple laughs. I posted the most appropriate ones I could find!! =) Anyways, they're almost as addicting a www.fmylife.com I can't stop reading, so I'm going to go back to reading.

My Humble abode!

Hellooooo viewers! =) I just went around my house and took pictures of the whole interior of the house.. except for the basement (Just my room and bathroom in the basement) anyways, I thought it could be a cool adventure since we just built the house, and put pictures on the walls! I hope you enjoy this post. Just to let you know, it's going to be pretty much all pictures. So if you don't like those kinds of posts then just don't carry on!  :) OKAY! Here we gooo! Starting in the basement and heading up!

This is the overview of my bedroom, that's my puppy Bailey on the bed! Looking a little shaggy!!

This is the basement bathroom when you walk in the door, nobody uses the bathroom so I call it mine!

MY shower! :) HAHA, Edmond! Me and my sisters don't fight over showers!! :D LOL

This is the kitchen, it's upstairs. There's two wall-ovens, a dishwasher with a milk jug on top and two sinks, oh! And there's a stove-top and a microwave and fridge DUH! It's not quite finished as you can see. No handles and some missing cabinets here and there LOL!

This is the main sink that we use for washing dishes such as pots etc. The window gives you a view into the backyard which is not yet finished. But I'm doing a seperate post tomorrow about the exterior because it's dark out right now! And there's no school tomorrow.

This is the table where we eat our everyday meals, the kitchen was right behind me when I took this picture. To my left is the door to the backyard, and my puppy's kennel.

This is the sort of sitting room, we don't use it much though because it's kind of cluttered, I can't wait until spring cleaning. To my right is the kitchen, to my left the table. And behind me the door to the backyard.

This is a closer view of the fireplace that is in the sitting room. My mom put that little nook in the wall specially for that picture when we first built the house. The picture was taken by a family friend who works and lives in Prince George, he's amazing!!

This is the front door of the house, to my left is the sitting room with the fireplace. And the below picture is a view of my right! :) As you can see this is the center for where I do my papers. On the bench is my newspaper satchel!

We have only eaten one meal at this table, it is mostly for homework and large family dinners (rare.) We have only eaten Thanksgiving dinner at this table. We were barely moved in! It wasn't a family dinner, me and my sisters brought our dinner over from the neighbors on plastic plates and ate there!

This piano sits against the wall in front of the stairs! The stairs going down and up.. by this I mean the stairs that lead to the basement and the stairs that lead to the third floor. I took this picture for Edmond so that he could see where I play piano! :) Well, where I practice piano.

That door in the right hand corner is the door that leads to the bathroom. To the left is a door that leads to the garage.. And the door in the background (barely visible) leads to the backyard also! This room is the laundry room, and mud room. The water cooler is also in there. And if you look closely you can see the heavy duty sink between the water cooler and sink. We keep dog food in the big closet in this room also!

This is what it looks like when you're looking up from the bottom of the stairs that lead to the third floor. To my right (when I took this picture) is the dining room (special occasion dining room) and to my left is the junction for the kitchen and laundry/ mud room.

This is the view of the right when you get to the top of the stairs, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the left.. but you'll get a pretty good idea. The 'K' stands for Keera, my sister. There's a mini linen closet there in the right, and right beside that closet is another room, Brynn and Nyah's bedroom.

This is a REALLY high overview of Keera's room. It looks a little messy because she was going to bed at the moment. But she wanted to be on my blog, so you can see her smile! Those two big windows give a view of pretty much the whole neighborhood in front of our house since we pretty much tower above them all!

Brynn and Nyah were also in bed! Nyah was sleeping in her boxers so she had to hide under the covers but they both wanted their pictures taken.

This is my mom's room, her room is pretty much half of the third floor. I'm not exaggerating.

On the left is her walk-in closet and straight ahead is her bathroom.

Behind me now are all the bedrooms, and to the left. The stairs. The stairs were not originally planned to be so open, there was previously a wall there. But in the middle of building my mom decided that she wanted to go for a more open feel so they knocked the wall down. Straight ahead is the bonus room which sits above the garage, and to the left is the computer.

Now THIS is where the magic happens, as you can see I'm talking to Edmond, and I'm on facebook in this picture. The contents of the desk are something to take notice in. The hand lotion is for when my hands get cramped from typing in my blog and I could really use a massage!! :) LOL, and there you see the crappy keyboard that never works. Although I don't want to jynx it as it has been going strong for quite some time now. You see the remote, the phone, and my sister's Ipod touch. :)

Not zoomed in view of the bonus room, (philadelphia dips commercial on at the moment) To the left is the bathroom that my sisters use to get ready in

This is the bathroom you see the bath/shower on the left toilet in the direct center, ME in the mirror TEHE =) and the sink, nothing interesting!

This is a closer up of the bonus room, messy at the moment.. but it's alright, Restraunt Makeover is on at the moment (I love those renovation and home improvement shows that are always on TLC and Slice!) anyways, you can see that we have a little wooden barn in the corner, that is my sister it's really cool. She got it for christmas from my dad! That's the only interesting thing in this room!

Anyways, those are all the pictures that I took, and this post is long enough as it is. I'm surprised that Blogger allows such long posts, and so many pictures! Anyways, I hope this wasn't too boring!! GOOD BYE!

Adventures in Info Tech: Do you just not know what a computer is?

Hey guys, this post is just going to be about how some people in my Info Class pretty much don't know how to use a computer. It really bothers me. Because there's a huge screen on the wall where you can pretty much see every little thing he's clicking on or typing, it's pretty simple people. And, also. Just because it's not a real full class doesn't mean you don't have to pay attention. Like, some people really need to just sit down and be quiet. I can't imagine what it's like to be a teacher. This post is really short. But I just wanted to post a quick little post explaining what I think (In barely two sentences) about people who never listen in class. I may be being a hypocrite here.. because maybe people like classes that I don't pay attention in. But if you don't know how to access internet, then in our society.. you must be.. let's just say deprived! Or something along those lines. Because seriously everyone in the world, pretty much, should at least know how to access the internet.. I sound really mean there. But if he shows you the icon, and tells you how to get onto it.. then I guess I'm just trying to say that you should know how to get onto the internet. He pretty much gives step-by-step instructions on everything.. and he still ends up having to walk around the classroom and assisting everybody on everything INDIVIDUALLY! Anyways, I'll be posting hopefully a lot of posts this weekend because we have a long weekend SEE YA! :) BYEE!

How the years change us!

Has anybody ever noticed that they suddenly care what people think about you? Don't you miss the days when you didn't.. and when people didn't swear or think it was cool to bully other kids. I know I sure do. This is going to be a basic post about how I think I've changed since I was young. (Some pictures included.)

Anyways, from what I can remember Elementary years were the best of my life. Everything was all okay! I didn't have as many worries. And I didn't have as many privileges which also means.. that I didn't have as many responsibilities! It was great in Grade One, everybody was friends with everybody, and it was o.k. to be friends with guys! Although there was one bully in the class who I still go to school with today and he hasn't changed at all, so I guess the years don't change all of us. Getting back to the topic, I really liked being young and in elementary because there wasn't so much pressure on what you have to look like, and who likes you, and how many friends you had. Most of the time I wish I was still back in Elementary school. Mostly, because I loved my elementary school and it was just a great place to be. But also because there was no rumors, and gossip going around. And everything like that. I think that it seems more like the environment is changing around me more than I am actually changing as a person. such as, schools, home, and friends are changing. Mostly the people around me. They seem to be changing.. but more drastically as I enter High School. There is more bullying, and people who think it's cool to call people stupid (not you Edmond.) I think the years have changed me a lot too though I'm more.. I don't know.. I just don't find name calling as funny anymore. And, stuff like that. As a person, I don't think I have changed too drastically. But I can type 100× faster! HAHA, but some people around me (back to the environment around me) have changed as in makeup, clothing, speech etc. I don't wear makeup. I wear the same clothes I always did.. besides my school uniform from elementary which brings me to another topic.. I miss uniform a lot! Uniform was something I hated wearing everyday to school. But now that I'm in high school I realize that what my sister said when she was first going into Grade 8 was true.. she said I would miss uniform for sure. And I do. I miss not having to worry about what I'm going to wear everyday of the week. And, I miss not being judged or criticized about what I wore, because everywhere around me; everybody was wearing the same thing! Anyways, heres two pictures.. the youngest one I can find of me and the latest 2 I can find of me to give you an image of how I have changed! It's pretty easy to spot the differences in these two photos!

The above pictures are of me and my Mom, notice the baby food! And the below two pictures are my two latest pictures of me!

Upcoming Posts: What is Normal? AND Uniforms or No Uniforms?

Didn't Mama ever teach you manners?

My biggest pet peeve is people who chew with their mouths open, or talk with their mouths full. It is actually very disgusting. I can't stand it. It's like.. seriously, URRGG! Anyways, I chew with my mouth closed all the time. And I try to over exaggerate my close mouth chewing so that maybe people around me will notice but they never do. Now, I could probably go on forever about how disgusting it is when people chew with their mouths open or talk with their mouths full but I know it wouldn't be that interesting so I'm going to move onto the next paragraph now.

With my family members, younger sisters mostly I tend to gently tap the bottom of their chins to remind them to chew with their mouths open. They get annoyed easily so they kind of just start chewing louder and more obnoxious, yes! With their mouths open! My mom thinks it's no big deal but it bugs me so MUCH! I don't even eat at the same table as them if it gets really bad. I'm not saying they try to chew gross all the time. But it's just.. I don't know. I can hear (with my eyes closed) when somebody is chewing the way they shouldn't be. When I'm over at a friends house I will plug my ears if they chew gross. And it sounds really rude of me to do so. But it bothers me to insanity!! Like, I could go crazy over how much it bugs me! Especially this friend I have who obviously can't eat pancakes, or anything for that matter without sounding like a cow. (notice im not mentioning names) Pancakes are just the worst food to EVER eat with her. Which is why I try to stick to cereal.. or yogurt! I just went on Google and tried to figure out if there was actually a phobia (proper name) for when people chewing with their mouths open drives you insane. Sadly, there is not.. so I can just call it my pet peeve.. or phobia. Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know my biggest pet peeve. It bothers me a lot. If you want to do a response or reply to this post it would be cool! I would like to hear about your biggest pet peeve(s)!

Flexibility

The definition of flexibility in my own words is when somebody can move their body different way and into different shapes that would be harder for others. These people would then be called flexible. There's many ways to work on your flexibility.. some easy stretches are

- Shoulder stretch
- Triceps stretch
- Chest stretch
- Lower back stretch
- Groin Stretch (we do this is gym)
- Quadriceps stretch

If you want to know how to do any of these stretches just post a comment. :) Now! Wikipedia's definition of flexibility is this... The range of motion of a joint, which may be increased by stretching.

Warming up before you stretch is important. Almost more important than the stretching itself. Because if you pull a muscle you could be out for 1-8 weeks. And that is only for mild muscle tears. There is plenty of warm ups that are easy to practice on a daily routine. Make sure you practice Dynamic stretching and Static stretching. Mix a little bit of both. Anyways, here are some pictures that my sister helped me take! HAHA. They pretty much suck. But Oh Well! :)

                                 Half-way there.

                                Sort of getting it.

                                      Closer..

One leg, as close as it's going to get for now.

                                     Ta-DAAA!

Anyways, I just wanted to see how good I could do that after not doing it for like.. umm I don't know. A year at the least! HAHA! One more move below...

I was sitting the camera on the chair so it's not too centered or anything. Anyways, this post was short.. and most likely boring. I'll do another post later tonight. A discussion or something! TALK TO YOU LATER! :) BYEE!
