How the years change us!

Has anybody ever noticed that they suddenly care what people think about you? Don't you miss the days when you didn't.. and when people didn't swear or think it was cool to bully other kids. I know I sure do. This is going to be a basic post about how I think I've changed since I was young. (Some pictures included.)

Anyways, from what I can remember Elementary years were the best of my life. Everything was all okay! I didn't have as many worries. And I didn't have as many privileges which also means.. that I didn't have as many responsibilities! It was great in Grade One, everybody was friends with everybody, and it was o.k. to be friends with guys! Although there was one bully in the class who I still go to school with today and he hasn't changed at all, so I guess the years don't change all of us. Getting back to the topic, I really liked being young and in elementary because there wasn't so much pressure on what you have to look like, and who likes you, and how many friends you had. Most of the time I wish I was still back in Elementary school. Mostly, because I loved my elementary school and it was just a great place to be. But also because there was no rumors, and gossip going around. And everything like that. I think that it seems more like the environment is changing around me more than I am actually changing as a person. such as, schools, home, and friends are changing. Mostly the people around me. They seem to be changing.. but more drastically as I enter High School. There is more bullying, and people who think it's cool to call people stupid (not you Edmond.) I think the years have changed me a lot too though I'm more.. I don't know.. I just don't find name calling as funny anymore. And, stuff like that. As a person, I don't think I have changed too drastically. But I can type 100× faster! HAHA, but some people around me (back to the environment around me) have changed as in makeup, clothing, speech etc. I don't wear makeup. I wear the same clothes I always did.. besides my school uniform from elementary which brings me to another topic.. I miss uniform a lot! Uniform was something I hated wearing everyday to school. But now that I'm in high school I realize that what my sister said when she was first going into Grade 8 was true.. she said I would miss uniform for sure. And I do. I miss not having to worry about what I'm going to wear everyday of the week. And, I miss not being judged or criticized about what I wore, because everywhere around me; everybody was wearing the same thing! Anyways, heres two pictures.. the youngest one I can find of me and the latest 2 I can find of me to give you an image of how I have changed! It's pretty easy to spot the differences in these two photos!

The above pictures are of me and my Mom, notice the baby food! And the below two pictures are my two latest pictures of me!

Didn't Mama ever teach you manners?

My biggest pet peeve is people who chew with their mouths open, or talk with their mouths full. It is actually very disgusting. I can't stand it. It's like.. seriously, URRGG! Anyways, I chew with my mouth closed all the time. And I try to over exaggerate my close mouth chewing so that maybe people around me will notice but they never do. Now, I could probably go on forever about how disgusting it is when people chew with their mouths open or talk with their mouths full but I know it wouldn't be that interesting so I'm going to move onto the next paragraph now.

With my family members, younger sisters mostly I tend to gently tap the bottom of their chins to remind them to chew with their mouths open. They get annoyed easily so they kind of just start chewing louder and more obnoxious, yes! With their mouths open! My mom thinks it's no big deal but it bugs me so MUCH! I don't even eat at the same table as them if it gets really bad. I'm not saying they try to chew gross all the time. But it's just.. I don't know. I can hear (with my eyes closed) when somebody is chewing the way they shouldn't be. When I'm over at a friends house I will plug my ears if they chew gross. And it sounds really rude of me to do so. But it bothers me to insanity!! Like, I could go crazy over how much it bugs me! Especially this friend I have who obviously can't eat pancakes, or anything for that matter without sounding like a cow. (notice im not mentioning names) Pancakes are just the worst food to EVER eat with her. Which is why I try to stick to cereal.. or yogurt! I just went on Google and tried to figure out if there was actually a phobia (proper name) for when people chewing with their mouths open drives you insane. Sadly, there is not.. so I can just call it my pet peeve.. or phobia. Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know my biggest pet peeve. It bothers me a lot. If you want to do a response or reply to this post it would be cool! I would like to hear about your biggest pet peeve(s)!

Flexibility

The definition of flexibility in my own words is when somebody can move their body different way and into different shapes that would be harder for others. These people would then be called flexible. There's many ways to work on your flexibility.. some easy stretches are

- Shoulder stretch
- Triceps stretch
- Chest stretch
- Lower back stretch
- Groin Stretch (we do this is gym)
- Quadriceps stretch

If you want to know how to do any of these stretches just post a comment. :) Now! Wikipedia's definition of flexibility is this... The range of motion of a joint, which may be increased by stretching.

Warming up before you stretch is important. Almost more important than the stretching itself. Because if you pull a muscle you could be out for 1-8 weeks. And that is only for mild muscle tears. There is plenty of warm ups that are easy to practice on a daily routine. Make sure you practice Dynamic stretching and Static stretching. Mix a little bit of both. Anyways, here are some pictures that my sister helped me take! HAHA. They pretty much suck. But Oh Well! :)

                                 Half-way there.

                                Sort of getting it.

                                      Closer..

One leg, as close as it's going to get for now.

                                     Ta-DAAA!

Anyways, I just wanted to see how good I could do that after not doing it for like.. umm I don't know. A year at the least! HAHA! One more move below...

I was sitting the camera on the chair so it's not too centered or anything. Anyways, this post was short.. and most likely boring. I'll do another post later tonight. A discussion or something! TALK TO YOU LATER! :) BYEE!

Adventures in InfoTech: Tutorial Time

Right now we're in Info Tech again! And, as I said I'm going to be doing a post everyday in Info Tech if I can. So to start off, it's tutorial time right now. And I have math homework but I don't feel like doing it. Once again computers are distracting me from do
ing my work. Today in English we had an introduction to Public Speaking and we were given a package to help teach us how to present ourselves and stuff like that. We were also allowed to go on the internet to try and find speech topics that we could write about for our Public Speaking project! I kind of made a list. And narrowed it down although I haven't really made a big enough list yet. Here is what my list looks like right now.

-History of a potato chip/ paper clip.

 -2012

 -Same sex marriage rights

 -OCD

 -Premature Babys

-What came first. The chicken or the egg?

 -Product Placing

Anyways, I think I should go now because I kind of want to do make a quick list on whayt kind of posts I should do because there's lots of really good ideas on the internet called "Speech Topics." And they're really good topics. So I think I'm going to go and just start them as drafts right now. I hope this was interesting enough to hold you over until I get home tonight. I only have 3 minutes left in Tutorial. I'll type to you later! BYE! (btw Edmond, music is banned in Info Tech now so I could only listen to Baby like 3 times! LOL) BYEE!

Discussion: Can males and females be friends?

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! They most certainly can. That is, if they can take the smart comments that other people will more sooner than late start making about them. But that's just people! Because, they've obviously got nothing better to do than be immature. But this is turning into a Rant type post.. so I'm going to tone it down a bit now. Before I get started this post is a response to my friend Edmond's post which you can read here ---> Discussion: Can Males and Females be friends in High School? Here is a link to his blog alone ---> Edmond's Center

I'm kind of drawing a blank here, so I'm going to refer back to Edmond's post! Edmond talked a lot about how there would always be some little sexual reaction or something like that deep down. I believe that, but if you really do believe that you can be friends with a member of the opposite sex then I think you can do it! Because it's great to have a vary of friends. Some guys are immature like the guys in my school I'd name people but that would be rude. And they make stupid jokes, and make fun of you. But most of all people start rumors and you need to be able to take those rumors. Basically, (as Edmond stated) Girls and boys are pretty much made to be attracted to each other. But in high school it's like REALLY bad. Because if you're friends with a boy or even wave or talk to them. There goes the rumor! I have a couple of guy friends. And there has been rumors about me and pretty much all of them! I guess that in order to have a friend who is the opposite sex you need to kind of keep them at a distance. Such as, (in Grade 8) you would hang out with mostly people of the same gender as you. And, if you wanted to have friends outside your gender, if you can't take the rumors, you're just going to have to occasionally talk to them and rarely be seen with them. This sounds really harsh even as I read it. But I have learned from personal experience that if you don't ignore the lies going around and kind of just let them blow over then you're in for a disaster all along. It doesn't seem to be as bad in Grades Nine through Twelve. But in Grade eight, maybe because of hormones and all, people are just looking to get a good laugh out of someone. And they will make up stupid things and expect to see you and your friend be together eventually. I guess this doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm kind of just rambling on and on. In the end, all I can say is that. The only thing standing between Girls and Guys having a normal friendship is the people that surround them.. of their age group of course. Because I'm sure you'll realize that as you grow older you mature A LOT. But you'll probably mostly realize that the people around you mature also. In a way, they grow with you! So, you just need to remember that this whole awkwardness between girls and guys at a young age is mostly temporarily! So, let it blow over. Which is exactly what I try to do!! :) All I can say is that I've succeeded at it so far! Hope this post wasn't too boring! Even I was getting bored writing it! I didn't put as much into it as I could have! Anyways, Good Night.

Making my Blog more readable and Bad examples.

I was recently informed by my older sister... Cortni. That my blog is very boring. Well actually she kind of said that my whole life is boring. So, I have decided that from now on I am going to try to get more interesting blog topics to post about. If anybody (Edmond or Cortni) has any ideas as to what I should write about then please let me know. Because I don't want to bore anybody to death... :) Anyways, I thought that my average days were pretty interesting. But I realize now that I'm going to have to work harder to make them more 'readable' if I'm going to write about them every day after school. This post is too short to actually be considered a real post.. So I'm now adding another sort of. Link-Post.

  SKINNY MODELS = BAD EXAMPLES?

My opinion on this topic is that it is wrong. Well, in a way models striving to be the smallest of the small is kind of sad. Because I think that super skinny people aren't the prettiest! You need to have some meat on your so people don't think that you're starving to death or something.

The two titles that I have created are not that thorough. So I'm just going to explain exactly what I hope to make this post about. It's basically about whether or not I think that skinny models are bad examples to teenagers, preferably girls. As I stated above, I don't think that skinny models are the problem. They're only part of the problem. Girls that think they are too fat are mostly just influenced by their peers. Well, at least this is how it is in my environment. People are pretty much just pressured by what they think their friends will think about how they look that they strive to be super skinny. Anorexia isn't really a major problem at my school. I have never actually had a friend that I know of who was dealing with anorexia. People used to make fun of me and call me anorexic, but everyone knew that they were just 'kidding.' Anyways, getting back on topic here. Girls in magazines aren't really much of the problem because most young stars such as Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and more don't really take weight loss to the extreme. They're young still and they're normal! But I think that it's not that girls my age are striving to be outrageously skinny like some super models but they are striving to be normal. Which brings me to another topic which I will write about in a seperate post. What is normal? Is normal fitting in, being average weight for your age? Well, I guess being average weight is good. But for those people who are just naturally over weight but still active. Who really cares what they look like. As long as they're themselves. And this line is very played out even I know but it's very true!! I don't see very much bullying as in pushing and shoving in Grade eight but there is a lot of 'friendly' name calling. Mostly about people's weight. In conclusion, models that thrive to be skinny is barely a sliver of the problem. It's their job. And it's who they choose to be.. I guess that's just them. Do people ever think about their end of the story? Maybe they are being themselves by being super super skinny. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post. And I will be posting my next post.

Look forward to- Discussion: Can boys and girls have a real friendship?

Adventures in Info Tech- First real class.

We're in Info Tech right now, it's the last block of the day and we only have five minutes left so this is going to be a very short post. Anyways, today we did typing and it wasn't that fun because it was how you have to start and finish every little exercise so you get stupid things like " jjj kkk lll " I didn't enjoy that much but then we started doing e-mail which is really fun. The cool thing is that you're pretty much allowed to do anything on the side while you're learning a message. E-mailing people in our class is pretty much what we do. We then did some Tim and Moby videos and did a quiz after that. About online safety. I got eight out of ten. And Devin got nine out of ten. But that was only because I did one for him :( HAHA. Anyways, I feel bad for Edmond because he wasn't allowed to switch out of... Mechanics. I have to go now. It's the end of the day! (p.s. we're listening to music on youtube right now. My song is baby by justin bieber) I'll try to write a post everyday in Info Tech ! BYE!

Angelina Wrona

My mom is really close friends with the owner of an art store downtown, and someone who sells art to the art store. It is called Direct Art it's downtown across from The Keg, or something like that. Anyways, my mom saw some art in their one day that caught her eye and she thought I would like it. I have no idea why as most of them are depressed and sad.. well, now I have an idea why!! HAHA :) I really loved the artists' work whose name happens to be Angelina Wrona. So I put a painting on lay away. Which is when you pay for bits and pieces for it at a time. And you get the picture once you have paid for all of it. My mom has mostly paid for it. She put almost 100 dollars on it and I have only put about 40 dollars. Below is my picture!

                                -Eloise

This is one of the not so depressing paintings of hers, me and my mom were careful no to pick a over the top emotional painting. I really like the way she mixes traditional anime with cartoons, and real life-like features to create her characters! Below are a couple paintings that I really like of hers. Also here is the link to her official website ---> Angeline Wrona

The first one is one of her more creepy ones. It is titled 'Single Again' and the second one I like because it is one of her more human like paintings it is titled, ' Doin the Dishes' LOL, I don't really like this title much.. but then again most of her titles are kind of weird.. and unique!

The above painting is titled 'Visionary' I like it because of the two different colored eyes! My god sisters dog has eyes exactly like that. The below painting is titled ' Calm before the Storm' I like this one because again it is one of the not so depressed paintings that she has and it is very cute and girly.

Below are two of her (again) more human-like paintings. I especially like these ones because of the details in their outfits. And the raw emotion in their faces. Once again, these few paintings I'm showing you are just to show you the ones that popped off of the page for me!

On the top is titled 'Betrayed' and the bottom is titled 'Bridesmaid' The one on the right is my favorite of the two. Because up close the emotion and sadness in the woman on the top is too much for me to bear!

If you check out the website I would really appreciate it so that you can see what I mean by her having a lot of... unique paintings and creepy ones at that! But, who knows! They must appeal to someone! I have realized that the paintings are about $200 cheaper on the website.. so I think the next paintings of hers that I purchase are definately going to be off of this website. I met someone in Grande Prairie that had a babysitter who had two whole walls of her bedroom covered in just Angelina Wrona's pictures.. obviously obsessed. She also has smaller versions of her pictures available. I won't post the size chart giving the sizes you can get because it's on the website. I really want some smaller ones because the one I have on lay away is a larger one. And it would look great with some smaller ones from the same collection. Anyways, this was probably boring. But I do hope you check out the website and see some of the creepy paintings! GOOD NIGHT!

Info Tech and Mystery Gum.

Today was the day that all of us grade eights, and probably older grades also switched electives. I got to switch to info tech, and everyone told me it would be boring. Most people said that today was the MOST boring day and the rest of the course was pretty much equally boring. So, pretty much nobody really enjoyed Info Tech. But when they explained what they define boring as I was impressed! It actually sounded like fun. All weekend I was pretty much really excited for Monday. Then when it came it turned out that my elective block wasn't until the very end of the day. As soon as I finished Math I was SO excited. My happiness had been building up inside of me ALL day long. Here's everything that we did in Info Tech today.

First, Arshdeep, Devin, and I decided where we were going to sit. We chose to sit in view of the teacher but on the left wall.. sounds confusing if you haven't been in the classroom. I sat in the middle with Devin on my left and Arshdeep on my right. Devin made a comment about this seating arrangement later in the class he said "HAHA, look we're an oreo cookie!" Because both Devin and Arshdeep have brown skin.. and I'm very white. I didn't get it, and it took me a while to ask Devin what he meant by this joke.. but then he told me and we couldn't stop laughing! To sum up Info Tech today we laughed a lot and changed the backgrounds on our computers. We sent each other some mail. Arshdeep sent Devin some hate mail! HAHA. It turned out that the mail server was down or something so whenever you sent something it wouldn't show up, it sucked! Devin's background was sSpiderman, and then he changed it to a fat Edward Cullen because mine was Edward Cullen and Arshdeep's was Taylor Lautner. We learned about how to set up Documents, and all our files. And some more useless stuff. Other than that, all I can say is that my first day was a success and Devin was hysterically funny!

I thought that I could get away with making this one post by itself but I'm not really in a writing mood. So I'm going to link two of my ideas together. My next topic is the new Stride Mystery Gum which is not yet in stores near us.

I heard about this new Gum from a commercial, you probably know the one. I'm really excited to get this new gum because I can't wait to name it! I looked  it up on the internet, and saw some names that people called it, just so you know here are some of the most common ones,

- Citrus
- Green Apple
- Watermelon
- Melon
- Grape
- Sprite Soda
- Strawberry Pineapple Ice
- Sour Diesel

As you can clearly see, most of the names vary between different tropical fruits. Excluding, of course. The last one. Sour Diesel, which surprisingly enough was mentioned on a couple different information websites by different people. My sisters boyfriend works at Save on Foods and he said that he can get me some as soon as they get it in. But obviously people have already tasted it and so I'm jealous!! But I can't wait until I try it! I tried to add a picture of the Gum Package that it comes in but blogger isn't letting me do it for some reason. I'm going to hopefully do another post before bed. Anyways, BYE!!

The Hunger Games and Catching Fire

I posted this yesterday night but then I realized that I should probably have added in a description of the book for people who may not have read the book and therefore not have been interested in my post and/or found it boring. So here goes.
---> The Hunger Games is an intriguing novel about 16 year old Katniss Everdeen whose name has been pulled to be a tribute in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are a televised reality t.v. show that everybody in the districts is forced to watch. Two tributes (a boy and a girl) from each district are chosen at random to be in the Hunger Games. There is normally only one rule. Kill or be killed. The Hunger Games is an adventurous novel that has you jumping at every corner. Katniss is challenged in all ways thought possible!

- I hope that summed it up pretty good. I wish I had more time to write more tonight but I don't because I went for dinner with.. well, I think I'll write a post about that and my paper route that I screwed up on tomorrow.

                     *SPOILERS AHEAD*

As you may know from one of my earlier posts, I started the book 'The Hunger Games' quite some time ago. Even before spring break. And, if you know me well enough you know that I whiz through a single book in normally five days tops. So, when it took me all of spring break plus this week to the the novel I was pretty dissapointed with myself. Ecspecially, when I got to the best parts of the book and I wished I would have sooner.

I started reading the book (as I said) before Spring Break, but the reason that I started reading it was because my English teacher Mrs.Gilbert, whom I love, and is my favorite teacher, had just finished reading it and suggested that I get into it. The one thing she didn't inform me of is that it is actually a three part trilogy. I don't really want to talk about my thoughts of the author making it a trilogy until I get there, so here it is.

When I first started the book I didn't think I would like it much, or even if I finish it I didn't think that it was the sort of book that I could get into. But, I started it anyways, and at first it was just an on and off silent reading book for school. You know the type, the book that is always in the back of your locker in case of 'emergencies.' Well, I started reading and it wasn't the best. So I put it down for a couple days. But then I started taking up more and more, and I was finally a quarter of the way through the book by the time spring break had started. Spring Break was super busy for me so I didn't really have much time for recreational reading, after Spring Break I got into reading the book hardcore, and I had finished more than 200 pages of the book in less than two days. I told my Dad about the book over the course of those 200 pages, and even he agreed that it didn't sound like the sort of books that I usually pick off the shelf and read myself. But I kept on reading and I was bringing the book to every class and finishing class work as soon as possible just so I could take out the book and read half of a paragraph. Well, that was earlier in the week and by this morning at school I had about 100 pages left. Believe it or not, I had finished that book by the time I got home off of the bus. But keep in mind I also read it all through the school day, and I also read it during Silent Reading in math class. I'm getting off track once again. The book was amazing. Once I got into it, which surprisingly took me a while. The relationship that Katniss and Peeta shared before the games really made for an interesting twist to the games. I always knew though, that they were both going to end up being allys, and believe it or not. As soon as Caesar made that announcement in the sky that lonely night when Katniss has just lost Rue,  I knew what he was going to say about the two ______ (brain fart) of the same district were going to be able to win the games and become victors together. But, I also knew that the Game makers would never have let this happen in a million years. I knew from the beginning that in the end they would make Katniss and Peeta battle it out. I knew it all along. My favorite character in the book has got to be Katniss, though she got on my nerves sometimes, what with all the being so dramatic all the time. Not that this is not a time for drama.. I mean it IS kill or be killed. But during the times that she was yelling at Peeta and getting frustrated with Peeta REALLY ticked me off! Peeta is so innocent and he really does LOVE here. I knew that from the beginning also. You may think that the book was far too predictable for me, but it wasn't. There were times in the book when I stopped and realized that they were dead for sure. Like, when Thresh had that boulder dangling over Katniss' skull. I thought she was a goner and sure enough so would Peeta, if Cato or Thresh didn't get to him, then the blood poisoning would have surely killed him! To be honest I read the last page of the book but it didn't make sense. But to me it did not sound like they were home in District 12. And, when I thought about it, it seemed like they were in heaven and those were just some narrative parts by Katniss Everdeen. At the point in the end where Katniss was in the operating room back in the Capitol it really reminded me of a series I read throughout grade seven that consists of 4 books, and I think I will mention them to my English teacher if she's not busy with another book. Although I am happy and VERY VERY VERY surprised that there is a second AND third book to this trilogy, I think it would have been better if the author (Suzanne Collins) would have just made the first book 'The Hunger Games" longer, and included all of the second and third book. The book dropped me at a bad part, because it hardly finished itself off. And, while I was on the city bus reading today after school I could feel other peoples' eyes on me when I closed the book and gasped! It was so embarassing, my eyes must have been as wide as a black hole, because the man across the bus was looking at me with a very confused grin on his face! Anyways, as soon as I got home I raced to the computer and googled the trilogy, and found out that the second book "Catching Fire" was released on September 1st of 2009. I quickly called my Dad on his cell phone because I knew he was at the mall with my sisters watching the reptile show, and asked him if he could stop at Coles Book Store for me and check if they had the book. So, I gave him the title and author, and sure enough my sister came home with the book. I haven't yet started it because I'm saving it for bed time. And, I'm so excited to tell my English teacher about it. From the front page the book doesn't look AS interesting as the soft cover hunger games that Mrs.Gilbert lent me, and the description on the front-inside cover doesn't sound as good as 'The Hunger Games' I'm sure I'll end up saying I was wrong when I write my next book review. Which will definately be about the second book in 'The Hunger Games Trilogy' ,Catching Fire. Below are pictures of the two books. Hope you enjoyed this post. I would have gone more deep with my review on the first book, but it's past my bed time. And, I want Edmond to read this post before he has to go to bed also, so I don't want to save it for morning. Or it may never get posted. Bye! :)

Scary false alarm.

If you have read Edmond's latest blog post titled 'Today:' then you probably already know what this is going to be about by reading my title. Anyways, here's how it happened I was probably in the library when it did though.(I have a feeling that this is going to be a very short blog post but I will try) Edmond tells the story better from a first person point of view so check out his blog if mine isn't juicy enough ----> Edmond's Center. Anywaaaays, I was in the library and Edmond went to the Mechanics/Metal Works room to get a free muffin which the teacher Mr.Wey normally has once a week I think. But I wouldn't know because I'm not a regular. I've only had a muffin once because Edmond brought it to me, because I'm too scared to go in there. Back to the story, it's getting harder and harder to stay on track!! Jeez, so Edmond went down the hallway a bit before 12:00 PM (I saw him.) And, then I left to the library so I didn't see him lying on the floor practically dying. So I went to the library with Chloe and Ashley to finish my english project that I did all by myself. I was just sitting down when Dalan offered to help me out with the coloring. I refused because he looked pretty busy reading AND talking to friends at the same time. He then told me that Edmond might not be in English because he had had an allergic reaction to a muffin from Mr.Wey's room, and he might be going home. I was sad, and worried at the same time because typical me.. I'm always thinking the worst of things. Never on the positive side! I thought he could be really, really sicks, or worse in the hospital. Or the thought that just briefly crossed my mind.. in the hospital.. dead. And, I admit it sounds a bit extreme. But you never know what could happen. Some people do die from allergic reactions.. but I'm probably making Edmond just a tad uncomfortable here, so I think I'll stop there. So, that is the highlight of my day pretty much.. and not because it was the coolest or funniest thing that happened.. but it was pretty exciting. Yet scaaary! I think I'm going to go now, I've still got one last post to do before I head off to bed to read my... I'm saving that for the next post. Hope you enjoyed reading this uber short post about Edmond's allergic reaction! I wish I could have expanded more on the ways that people die from allergic reactions but then I would have lost a reader 3 quarters of the way through my post (the reader being YOU Edmond.) Hope my fingers have enough energy in them to type out one more post! Bye.

Rant: Stupid buses

This post is a little bit delayed because I should have posted it the day of my first bus ride because it could be a little fresher in my mind. But I remember it well.

 Here's how it all began...

- I got on the first bus that came like my sister told me to do, but she also told me to ask if the bus went to 15th Ave. So I did, I asked her if she went to the bus stop on the corner of 15th and Gorse, by Fir and stuff, is exactly what I said. So, I get on the bus, (what I was not aware of was that my bus doesn't come until 3:30, and this bus was there right at 3:00) and we're going all around town, and downtown and then all of a sudden we start going up the Hart, and this guy from my school is like "You're going up to the Hart" (His name is Caleb) and I said "Well, uhh.. today. umm Now! Umm, yes today I am!" I was stuttering because I thought we were going to turn right and go on the new round-a-bout and head to fort george park. So after about 45 minutes of driving around the hart and going down every residential street up there we finally start heading down the hill. The lady then asked me "Who needed to go to 15th, again?" I, obviously, answered with a very quiet ..me.. And she said "We already passed it so I'll get it on the next time around." After 20 minutes of aimlessly riding around downtown Prince George she dropped me off at some random transfer bus and gave me a ticket. I got on the bus and asked him if he went to my address and he said "Yes." When we got to the pool I asked him again and he said "Yes, but it will be another half an hour until I get you to the transfer bus." I decided it would be quicker to walk home so from the pool (Four Seasons' Pool) I walked to city hall until.... I saw my mom's car coming down the road. She told me to wait a minute and I got in the car with her, and I told her my whole story. It was nearly six o'clock when my mom picked me up. So, we went grocery shopping for lunch stuff and dinner, and got some gas. Then she dropped me off at home and I had to get picked up like 10 minutes later to go to volleyball with my dad! Yes, it was a very hectic day. But out of it I learned that if you get on the right bus in the first place you won't have to ride on a million different buses, and you won't end up getting a VIP tour of the Hart. Thanks for reading. Keep your eyes peeled for my next posts, coming soon! :)

Excuses, excuses, excuses and my day.

As you probably have already realized, I have been letting all of my followers down (Edmond.) Because I have just been really busy and not been able to find the time to squeeze in even a tiny blog post. But now that I have sort of day off, aside from homework, I decided it would be the best day to write a post. I'm mostly busy everyday of the week after school, so I don't have much time to make posts. But I'm going to try at making a post everyday AGAIN. But this time if I don't have time I will force myself to at least do a 'My Day' post. Okay, so.. next. I just wanted to have a quick little chat about my friend Edmond's blog. Now, unlike me he normally updates his blog once a day. Sometimes he publishes more than one post in a day. I wish I could be like that. And, his posts are really readable also. They're not boring at all!! I actually choose to read his 'short' posts while I'm brushing my teeth in the morning. Because they normally take me about two minutes if not more. But his 'long' posts take me up to 10 minutes to read most of the time, I choose to read them when I'm eating my breakfast. Or when I have a minute after school so I can actually think about what I'm reading. Enough rambling already, here is a link to get you to his blog-----> Edmond's Center. I feel bad when Edmond tells me that he checks my blog every day because I'm pretty bad for making a post a day. But enough about that.

I wanted to do a seperate post of it's own for this particular subject.. but since the above post is pretty short I have decided to link them together, so I'm going back to change the title right now :P !

So, this morning I took the bus (which reminds me of another post I need to post today) and by bus I mean city bus. the morning bus rides are usually pretty mellow. But who am I to talk this is only my second time taking the morning bus to school. But I couldn't say the same about the after school bus because there's usually a lot of kids trying to get to the mall and home, and adults getting home from work. So the bus ride was good. My first class today was Mechanics. We're just learning some things to kind of tie up the class because we only have a week left until I switch to Info Tech, YAAY! Today was pretty much starting a lesson of it's own just learning about maintenance that you could do to figure out why the engine isn't running but we mostly learned about seperate parts of the engine. Such as compression, fuel, and ignition. I could write more about Mechanics but I don't really want to waste too much space on my least favorite class of the day. The highlights of Mechanics were Arshdeep being late, and Devin getting a detention! HAHA. He was playing with his energy sword again (a broken foldy chair.) Okay, next was break. Nothing interesting happened during break, we sat down while I ate, then we walked in circles some more. Second block of the day was Math. We got some homework today that I didn't finish at lunch because I had some other homework to finish but we'll get to that in a bit. In match we were doing multiplying mixed fractions. I was getting all the answers wrong even though I understood how to do it until I realized that I was not changing the mixed fractions into improper fractions the right way. So that was Math. Then came Lunch, we just sat down and ate and then Chloe, Ashley, and I went to the library to finish coloring the poster that Dalan, and Edmond and me were doing for english. The pencil crayon would NOT sharpen so we were coloring with just one side of it. Chloe ended up coloring with a broken tip that she held underneath two of her nail, it didn't look too comfortable. Third block was English pretty much the only class I look forward to during the day. We just learned about a project that we were assigned today but I forgot the due date of it. I got my Chapter 13-15 questions back for 'Airborn' and I got 15/15 and I also got 5/5 on my reflection of the three chapters and my extra reflection about Chapter 15. Last block of the day was Gym, normally that is my second favorite class of the day (after English) but we're now doing theory work for 3-4 weeks now. It sucks, it's like an exact replica of Grade 4,5, and 6 science!! The only class that I like RE-learning stuff in is Math. Because I didn't get math at all in Grade seven, not that it's any better now. Because my teacher (sorry for only complaining about teachers in my blog Dan!!) is sooo boring, and he doesn't even help me out!! Which brings me to the conclusion of my school day, I caught the bus around 3:30 PM and it took me home. I went to the neighbors for a bit and had a dinner with them. Then, I came home and got on the computer. This post is getting quite long and my sisters are running around screaming like crazy men (people) haha. So I better get going.. too chaotic here. Bye. Hope you enjoyed hearing about my day. And, look forward to my next posts. I will post them tonight!!

Rich Kids??

I wish I could say that the title explains this post but it doesn't do it very well. Pretty much, me and my Best Friend (practically sister) Celsey have been keeping  our eyes on a certain number.. well more like number$$$$$! This lifesize luxury playhouse is 36,400.00 DOLLARS! I am 13, and Celsey just turned 12. But still, who wouldn't pass up an oppurtunity to get this thing! The only thing is that we haven't really been given the opportunity.. we are starting a small savings fund. With me and my paper route and Celsey and her... finding quarters in the couch once a month it should take us.. hmm.. twenty years GIVE or take a couple years. Haha. So here it goes below is a picture of our, or the house that we want. Wait, first here is a link to the website with a lot of things for children. Such as, furniture for children, toys and a lot of other cool things. Go Here for the website. You will be satisfied but it is very pricey.

I'll also show you some more pictures of the interior of the house. Isn't it cute though. First here is a short description that I put together about the house from what I've learned through research.

 - This playhouse is a prime example of the craftsmanship and aesthetic details rarely seen in today's children's items. This playhouse can come with cable, running water, electricity, central air or a wireless communication system. Other architectural styles are also available from fairy tale cottages to rustic cabins or even a miniature replica of your home. Comprehensive interior design services, such as window treatments, moldings, paint colors, furnishings, rugs and flooring including wood, marble, or Mexican tile, are also available. Each playhouse is a custom piece.

-This is a picture of a built-in bookcase in the loft of the playhouse.

-The kitchen can have running water, and working appliances. That is I admit over the top for a child but still! It's cool right.

-This is the loft bedroom that can hold two beds, but I'm sure it could also have more like three because it is quite spacious.

-This is a picture of the bottom of the stairs, sorry as it is quite blurry. But as you can see it looks like a full house! Does it not?

-This is a picture of a table and chair. So, it DOES fit regular sized furniture which could be good practice for me as I might want to endure in becoming a home designer or something. Then again, I don't like my opinion much.

-This is a picture of some spoiled rotten kid who actually got our house because his or her parents bought it for him or her.. and also he or she looks very creepy but I think that this is just to show that a child can fit in the house comfortably.

I hope you enjoyed learning about one of my wants :) And I do want this house so badly! But me and my Dad have some plans about getting a cheaper one and renovating it so it could be as nice if not nicer than this one. Because there is a guy who makes boats, playgrounds, play places, and houses somewhere down in Alberta. And, we have been there before and checked it out. But unfortunately we haven't seen his houses. But I'm sure he does great work. Anyways, I better be going now. This seems like I didn't talk enough but I'm also scared that it may be too long. Good Bye, I wish I could do more. But Celsey is on the phone with me right now and she's rushing me!! GRR... anyways, bye! :)

Thinking Question: Is honesty always the best policy?

This is always said, and not so much heard. Pretty much every elementary teacher I ever had would always be reminding us that honesty is the best policy. But if you did something that could hurt some other person. Would you seriously tell them the complete truth? If it meant hurting them emotionally or getting them into trouble. Now, of course this is an example that is always used but there are many more. Below are my thoughts about honesty always being the best policy!

In my opinion, like many others, I think honesty can or can't be the best policy. Although, don't get me wrong, most of the times it is! But like I said above.. sometimes the truth hurts and I know that there is a lot of people out there willing to hear the ugly truth. But what about those other people who can't handle the truth, and who would rather hear a pretty little lie. What do you do then? This question I can not answer.. but I do know what I appreciate more.

If I had to choose between someone lying to me to cover up something that could make me sad, or telling me the truth in the easiest possible way I would choose the truth. Here's why...

In my opinion lying will always haunt you, kind of like karma. But, if you just put the truth right out there it's bound to hurt some feelings but it will also (hopefully and most of the time) blow right over. Telling the truth is usually when forgiving happens, and there is new beginnings.

I guess, in conclusion. My opinion is that honesty is, after all, the best policy. If you think different about it then let me hear it on your blog!! I would love to.

I hope that you enjoyed hearing my opinion on this! It was kind of fun. But I didn't have much time to dig deeper in my research!! Sorry. BYE.

Discussion: People who say they do not want or need to use the World Wide Web

We all know them, or have heard of them.. or are one of them. Let's call them 'Old fashioned.'

I'm not trying to make them sound like some big dangerous clan or anything. And, I congratulate them on being able to survive without the internet. Because most of the time it does become a habit. But it doesn't always have to! People who can use the computer for a half hour everyday are balancing internet and THEIR LIFE. But people like me who are on the computer every minute I get a chance... well let's just say we don't manage our lives and computer time very wisely!

Some people argue and say that internet is changing the world! And that is a little over-exaggerated in my eyes. Because I don't think that internet will cause social isolation in any way. But, people who say this do have a point. Because half the people who chat on the internet are completely shy in real life... but I wouldn't say that computers are taking over man-kind!

 Am I addicted?
-How to know when you should stop

a) When you hear a good joke 'LOL' is the first thing that pops into your head!
b) Your bookmark list needs it's own hard drive.
c) You can go about your daily online tasks.... BLINDFOLDED!
d) You start using 'smileys' in High School essays.
e) When your connection goes down, you spend every waking minute trying to guess your neighbors password so that you can "borrow" their internet.

Now, I know that I'm guilty of a few of those things.. but I also wish that I could cut back on my internet time. My dad doesn't use the internet because he doesn't believe in it at all. He never even learned how to use one because he doesn't care, he's also 53. I know some people who have never known how to use a computer but it's kind of becoming like a cell phone now.. a horrible thing that has (over time) become a necessity. People who have never used computers before are now getting computer classes just so that they can learn how to check their e-mail. I'm not against it but I do think that computers have become very addicting. But, like I said some people DO know how to manage their computer time so that it's not too irregular.

I hope this post didn't get off topic too much!! :) Thanks for reading!

Too Much?

A little bit of something is cool, and by that I mean a little bit of piercings or one or two tatoos, but I got searching and stumbled upon this disgusting picture, and I was intrigued to make a post about it.

The woman in this picture has a total of 3902 tattoos and body piercings, for a total weight of over six pounds.

Of course, there were (WOAH! Deja vu right there!! of this post and the picture, wow! totally seen this before.. anyways) other photos of people who went insane on piercings but I like how this picture captured the side view and showed the ear. I mean, can you even imagine having all of those things hanging off of your face! YUCK!

Some people say over-piercing is really bad for you, and it is. But not only for your health! If you're one of those over-piercing metal heads here's how you know when to stop. -When you're feeling more metal than man/woman... STOP!- and that's that!! Below are a couple examples of too many tattoos!

I think that something meaningful being tattooed on your body that you will love forever would be okay, but not something that ends up being completely meaningful such as "I love /insert name here/" when the name you're inserting is some high school girlfriend! Because tattoos are pretty much permanent unless you want to spend a lot of money, and ...nevermind. I don't have a lot of time so if you want to look into tattoo removal check out this link here. Although there are many other sites that you could simply google. Now, below is a picture of a stretched tattoo. This happens a lot and is a real bummer you can read about stretched tattoos and morehere. Unfortunately, I could not find a picture of a stretched tattoo on the internet.. but I found many pictures of woman asking if their tattoos would stretch if they got pregnant.. they posted pictures of their bellies and were asking if it was going to stretch throughout pregnancy, there weren't many answers to their questions.. but here's what I think.. Why would you even get a full body tattoo.. unless it was completely meaningful and you were for sure never going to regret it!! It's kind of something that you have to look into your future to decide upon.. anyways, I really do wish that this post could be longer but I'll be sent to bed here anytime.. so I must be going now!

I hope you enjoyed this.. and I hope it wasn't too short or anything.. because even I know it's not the best post as I did not have much time. Good Night! :)
