Dreams...

Last night I had a really long, and kind of weird dream. I know where some of the ideas in my dream came from but not all of them. So, I'm going to type out my dream in the shortest and least complicated version as possible, and you tell me what you think. As soon as I woke up I decided to write my dream in my diary, so I'm reading it out of there right now. I might do some more posts like this if you find it interesting. Anyways, here it goes.

Basically, I'm a human avian hybrid, which means that I have two GIGANTIC wings but they fold up neatly on my back. (see picture below)

Anyways, we were out at our lake house or something and we had company over but the weirdest part was that my dad was my math teacher in real life! So, we were all swimming around and then I think it was Elle (Nyah's friend) who came and asked me for a ride. So, I lifted her into my arms and I remember it was actually kind of hard to take off because I hadn't exactly mastered the folding and unfolding of my wings yet. Once I got up in the air it was amazing! So amazing in fast, that I didn't realize I had dropped Elle, I remember panicking like mad and then looking down to see her flailing madly down towards earth. I tilted my body and sped down as fast as I could to grab her, I caught her just in time. And then, I remember realizing that we were in an area that looked like desert. I then looked up to find a helicopter lowering a HUGE elephant to the ground, the elephant was in a tiny little cage though, it broke my heart. Just as I was wishing the elephant would get out of the cage, the top of the cage lifted away and the elephant was free. It charged after three men who must have been in charge of everything and rammed them into their very old fashioned trailer. (see picture below)

Suddenly the elephant was charging at me and Elle , so I wish Elle home, but once the elephant got to me it immediately halted, spraying dirt and sand into the air around us. It was like the elephant was talking to me.. but it's mouth wasn't moving so I assumed that it was communicating to me through our minds. It turned around so that's it's back end was facing me and then I started hearing orders of how to get on the elephant's back. I remember he told me to take a running head start on the rock, and leap on his back while he was speeding in the other direction. We tried a couple times and I kept falling and hurting myself, but I healed fast so that was no problem. But then the elephant, who I found out was a boy, was getting really annoyed with me that I kept sliding off when he ran. Then we flew to the pool where my friends Hunter and Anthony were and we were there for a short time because I remember going into a resteraunt or something and then flying out, then I went home (not the lake home) and the three men from the desert were there (I didn't have the elephant with me anymore) and they were fighting my family, I don't know if they were robbers or wanted me but we managed to knock out two of them, but there was one left and my dad (math teacher) kept saying not to worry about it because he left, but I knew he was lurking somewhere in the house. Then, after living normally for a couple days and flying a lot I found him behind a corner one day and I remember something REALLY tragic happened and I woke up crying...

Well, I hope you enjoyed that weird dream.. now I'm going to explain where some of the ideas in that dream may have come from..

First of all, the whole human avian hybrid thing came from a book series that I have been reading, I have finished the first three books but there are still four or three more, anyways, the series is called Maximum Ride. Obviously the math teacher as my dad thing came from many weird thoughts that I'm not even going to get into.. LOL! The whole thing about my little sister's friend Elle being my sister probably came from last night at the Halloween dance.. I was hanging out with her a lot. I have no idea where the elephant came from but the whole mind reading power thing also came from the book series.. that's about all of the explaining that I can do. I think the most random thing is the elephant. Weird, eh? Anyways, let me know if you like these kinds of posts and I'll do more. BYE :) !

LA Plan

Alright, new plan. You know how a while back I made a post which was pretty much me just blabbing about my plan to move to Mexico and stuff? Well, that is still something I would like to do but definitely not permanently. So, I'm basically just going to tell you all about my new 'Plan.'

I've been thinking quite a bit lately and I decided that I don't want to live in this stinky little town that I call home anymore.. surprise. So, I've decided that I'm going to graduate from high school, which in Canada is Grade 8-12, and by the time I graduate I'm guessing I'll be about... 17 by the time I graduate. Most people are 18 when they graduate but I'm a winter baby. One I graduate I think I want to work for a while until I have a fair amount of money, and then I want to... DUH DUH DUH DUH!! MOVE TO LA!!!

I don't know exactly why I want to move to LA, but I just feel like it's an awesome place to live. I would want my own little apartment. I wouldn't move out there until I'm 18 or 19 though. I don't know anything about LA, I've only been there a couple times, while going to Disneyland. I think I like LA not only because of the warm temperatures but because it's where the 'party' is at. And when I say party I guess I'm referring to celebrities around every corner, amazing shopping locations, and there are a lot of HUGE concerts there too! It's also close enough to a lot of place that host HUGE concerts. :) I decided to post a couple of things in LA that I like. I haven't really done my research so bare with me.

This is the Six Flags logo, in case you didn't already know this is a HUGE roller coaster park, I have never been there but lots of people go there and say it's amazing. When I think of Six Flags I think about the commercial where there's always someone who says,"More Flags! More Fun!"

This is a picture of Justine Ezarik. Also known as, iJustine. She's a youtube celebrity and I just thought I'd show her in this post because she lives in LA. Along with MANY, MANY other youtube celebrities.

This is a picture of downtown LA, I love the tall buildings :)

This is just an example of what some of the shopping looks like in LA.

Who goes to LA and doesn't visit the walk of fame? Yeah, this picture is pretty self explanatory.

This is the apple store in LA, awesome right? We don't have an apple store where I live so I think this is pretty cool.

Well, that's about all I know about LA. I think it's an awesome place to live. I just hope the heat isn't TOO extreme. Alright, see you in my next post. I hope this wasn't too short! BYE :)

Post from an iPad, and my day today!

Well, hello there! Guess what? I'm not doing this post from my ordinary location... My crappy PC... I'm posting from a Mac product.. Can you guess what it is? If you guess iPod then clearly you're a little slow because the title of this post clearly states that this is a post from an (insert dramatic drumroll of your choice here)iPad!!! It's not my iPad of course.. I wish though! This iPad belongs to my mother's boyfriend, Alex.

I think he picked it up today from the post office or something but I'm glad he did because I was waiting all day today at school to come home and see the iPad and play on it :) so, here I am. This probably isn't going to be a review on the iPad, I've only been using it for less than a half hour.. But I will tell you whet I think about it so far :)

Basically.. I love it! I want one of my own but I definitely want one that has internet EVERYWHERE you go. Because otherwise I can't take it on long car rides or bus rides.. And I think it would be really fun to blog and tweet while on the go and not just from a cell phone :)

So, my first impression on the iPad.. Hmm.. Well, when I first held it I realized that it's super thin, and capable, and the screen is rally clear! I think that it has better screen resolution than an ipod touch. That is, in my opinion. All of the people who say that the iPad is pointless well they are way wrong. Because I think the larger screen is better for apps and Internet. And it's even better if you can take it wherever you want :) unless you have a laptop that can do that. Then an iPad would be pretty pointless unless you make over 30,000 dollars a night performing for thousands of screaming fans.. Yes I'm implying Justin Bieber. I hope my grammar and spelling isn't too bad on this thing. Which brings me to my next point.. The keyboard. I love the keyboard on the iPad. I find myself using most of my fingers to type at the moment I'm only using three though because it's pretty easy.. I think I might go to www.typingtest.com and take the test on here to see what my WPM is on here. I like how the touch keys are perfectly spaced and easily as big as the keys on the average apple keyboard.

I haven't really got much to say about it. I haven't really played any games (apps) on it yet because Alex doesn't want to type in his credit card when downloading a free app. But then io goggled iot and it turns out that you have to have an iTunes account to download apps.. So I'll have to tell him that. Anyways, the two apps I really want to play on here are Angry Birds, and Justin Bieber Tap Tap Revoltuion. I've heard nothing but good things about those two apps. I hope this post isn't too short.. I haven't really got anything to talk about so I'll do quick 'My Day' post.

MY DAY!
This morning I set my alarm for 6:00 AM so that I could get up early and do a quick read over my English as I had a test today, I think I did pretty good but I almost lost usage of my left hand due to all of the writing. Anyways, my day started out with Foods class. I have the most fun in this class because the people in that class are really fun to talk to and laugh with. The people I talk to the most in that class are Justine, Courtney, Eric, and Danae. We basically just goofed off today, and then had a test.. Then the teacher did a demonstration for the lab we will be doing tomorrow. She made mini pancakes, I ate three! Tehe!

Next was English class, test time! We had a double block of English today. For those of you who don't know what that means.. It means that we have English from a certain time until a certain time and then we have a 5 minute block. We then head back to English for half an hour. During the break the teacher made us continue our test so during the second half of the class my belly grumbled SOO loud! I'm not even exaggerating when I say this... The ENTIRE class turned and looked at me when it grumbled. Being in an honors class the tests are really hard.. It was about eight double sided pages of ALL short answers. But she made us write full sentences with four points per question. Which meant I needed to make four sentences. When the class was over it was lunch time...

For lunch I met my friend Ashley at her locker and we sat on a bench and did our usual
thing.. Which is basically talking, listening to music, counting the number of times we hear people say Justin Bieber, counting the number of people wearing the same clothing items, and staring at people. There's also this kid who looks like Justin Bieber's friend Christian Beadles and we sometimes stare at him when he walks by.. For lunch I ate a cheese bun, a fruit source bar, a fruit to go bar, and a chocolate chip cookie. After lunch I was going to Socials class..

I went to my locker and took my time because the computer lab that we were going to be having Socials class in for the day is right next to my locker. I went to Socials and since we had a substitute teacher and I was done my homework I just went on Twitter, and Youtube. Me and my friend Sheldon googled some stuff about the mmva's just to learn a little bit more about them and we weren't that successful.

This is getting long.. So after Socials I had Math class and it was retry straight forward. We went over our homework from last night, had a quiz, took some notes, did some partner work, and started on our homework assignments for tonight. That was my day... In long form. Alright, I'll talk to you in my next post. BYE!! :) one last thing I would like to say about the ipad is that the black case that comes with it is awesome. I really like it, it's very cool how it can fold backwards like a book and then it goes right back into place.. That sounds confusing but maybe I'll do a complete review on the ipad after Alex has had it for a while. Alright, bye now :)

Hoodie Buddie!

Well, hello there. In my last post I told you about something called a 'Hoodie Buddie.' And this is my post where I'm going to tell you all about the Hoodie Buddie. Kind of like... a review, but I don't own one. So I'll make a review post when I get one.

 Here's a picture of a Hoodie Buddie.

You might be thinking that this looks just like any ordinary hoodie, with some girl holding the drawstring up in a very annoying way.. but it's not. This is a Hoodie Buddie. It's basically a Hoodie, but the drawstrings have headphones at the end. Betty White invented this amazing contraption because in her words,
"God forbid you actually have to hold something!"
  I agree with you Betty.

In my opinion, the coolest part of the Hoodie Buddie is that it's 100% machine washable! Even the headphones! You just CAN NOT, let me repeat myself for the more dense people who didn't catch it the first time... CAN NOT dry it! It has to be hung out to dry or else you will short the wires, and then you're pretty much left with a regular hoodie.

Here is a picture of a Hoodie Buddie.

The Hoodie Buddie has two normal sized pockets, in the same place that all hoodies and jackets do, but it also has a secret pocket where you hold your ipod or cell phone. Inside this pocket there is a cord, alike the one attached to your normal headphones, and you simply just plug it into your device (whatever that may be.)

If you don't like the headphones that come with the Hoodie Buddie (it comes with two sets) you can always detach them and attach your own. A lot of people like these Hoodies for travelling because you don't have to remember when your ipod is, since you'll be running around a lot from plane to plane. I think this Hoodie is practical in every way! There are many different colors, purple, blue, pink, green, multi-colored. There are also different lines of Hoodie Buddies. Because, there are many companies associated with Hoodie Buddie. Such as, Paul Frank.

I think that Hoodie Buddies make a perfect gift, I'm thinking of getting one for my friend. They're a great idea, and frankly, I'm surprised that nobody came up with this sooner. But I guess it's better late than never. I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about the Hoodie Buddie, I'll have some cool links below so you can learn more if you want. :)

You can order, browse, or learn more about Hoodie Buddie on their website here.

You can watch a really cool review on the Hoodie Buddie here. This review was made by 'Luvetheskinurin' on youtube.

Christmas Wishlist.

MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

  1.  For my Mom to let me go to the MMVA's. All expenses paid by moi.
  2. New iPod (I won't need this if I get a new phone)
  3. New Cell Phone (blackberry torch or iPhone 4)
  4. Justin Bieber's book, First Step 2 Forever.
  5. HOODIE BUDDIE!
  6. Money
  7. iPad
  8. Macbook pro
  9. American Eagle Gift Certificate
  10. True Religion Jeans
Here is a legend showing the things I think I have a chance of getting, and things I have no chance of getting (but it would be nice).

    LEGEND
{purple} = Slight chance that it may be considered.
{blue} = Chance of getting.
{red} = No chance, but it would be amazing.
{green} = Absolutely no chance.
{aqua} = I know there's no chance Mommy, but I would love you forever <3

There are things on that list that I want more, and things that I just added because I wanted an even number of things.. I'm going to start by telling you the things I actually want.

First of all, the most important thing on that list is for my Mom to give me permission to go to the MMVA's 2011 (I'll be 14) that will be held in Toronto. All expenses paid my me. She's said no many times and it's really starting to sound like a definite answer.. but I'll keep trying. Next, I really want a hoodie buddie, although it is one of the cheapest things on there, I think they're awesome! I think I have enough to say about them that I could give them a post of their own, so I'll save that for later. I really want Justin Bieber's book, First Step 2 Forever (no it is not stupid computer slang that I added the '2' there, I don't do that, that is actually the title of the book) I think I may purchase this book for myself though.. I can't wait! Some things that I added onto the list that I don't really need but want would be, well... everything. I don't NEED anything on this list (except permission to go to the MMVA's) but they would be nice to have. Anyways, the only thing on this list that would be of little use to me is the iPad. The only way I would buy an iPad is if I had at least 2,000 dollars in my bank account. Then, and only then, would I consider purchasing an iPad.

Here are some pictures of some of the items on my wishlist.... (I'm only including this part because my sister Brynn only enjoys my posts if there are pictures in them)
This is a picture of Justin Bieber at this years (2010) MMVA's. He performed his hit single Baby, and joined Miley Cyrus in her performance of Party in the USA. By the way, this picture symbolizes the MMVA's.
This is a picture of the new shuffle. I know it's small, but this is the kind of iPod that I want :)

This is a comparison of the new Blackberry Torch and the iPhone 4. I'm not sure which one I want. Because there are pros and cons to each.. maybe I'll do a post about that.

This is the cover of Justin's (yes, we're on a first name basis) book cover, for his book First Step 2 Forever: My Story. My friend on Twitter has this book and she showed me some of the pages, and I can't wait to read it :)

This is a Hoodie Buddie, I'll explain more about them in my next post. But long explanation short, they're pretty much the coolest invention since the computer.

This is a picture of a 20 dollar bill. If I was getting money for Christmas this is what I see myself getting.

This is an iPad... they're cool. And I would be addicted to mine if I had one. But I don't WANT WANT one :P Do you get it? LOL!

This is a Macbook Pro, I really want one. This is what I want my next laptop to be, because they're amazing.

This is a gift card for American Eagle. I love American Eagle, nuff' said.

These are true religion jeans, I'm in love with them. And I really want some, but they're VERY expensive...

Well, that's pretty much my Christmas Wish List. I think this post was waaaaay too long, but the pictures take up a lot of room, see you next time. BYE! :) OH! And one more thing I forgot to add to the list is this little contraption ...

I think these are just the coolest things, you download books onto them and you can basically take them wherever you want. I saw one at a local drugstore a couple days ago (it was the pink one) and I fell in love. But honestly, I think the price is a little much. I still think it would be cool to have :) It's about the size of an iPad, maybe a little narrower, but you get the idea.

Likable Things.

In this post I'm going to show pictures of random things that I like, I'm doing this post mainly because it doesn't include a lot of writing, and my sister loves when I do posts with pictures. I'm also going to write a brief description of the picture and why I like it! Enjoy!

This is the YouTube logo, I like youtube because I enjoy watching other people's videos, and using youtube to watch and listen to music.

This is a baby grand piano, I chose this picture because I enjoy playing piano. I take piano lessons every second weekend.

This is the Blogger label, the reason I like Blogger is pretty self explainable.. would I be here if I didn't like Blogger?

These are music notes, I chose these music notes because I think they symbolize music, and I love to listen to music. The genre I like the most is Pop, but I enjoy country, and sometimes rap or rock.

This is the facebook logo, I am on facebook daily and it's highly addictive.. I know very few people who don't at least like facebook. I like facebook mainly because it's fun to connect with friends and family who you don't see very often. It's also nice to know what's going on in my friend's and family's lives.

This is a picture of a steak. MMMMM! If you don't know me, then you don't know that I LOVE meat. I'm basically a carnivore. I think I made a post about that though so, yah, I like steak.

This is a picture of a pen and a notebook, I chose this picture to symbolize writing, I love to write, I am currently in English honors :)

I chose this picture because I like laptops, I have a dell laptop that is a piece of crap, please don't get me started. But the main reason I chose vaio is because my brother owned one when he was in high school and ever since that I've really liked them. Even though I've never owned one of my own.

I chose this picture because I love jeans. I hardly wear anything else. Jeans are like.. I don't know, a necessity?

I chose this picture because I love high tops, my favorite brand at the moment is supra. I like this pair because they're cool looking. By the way, my liking of supra has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that Justin Bieber loves supra ;)

This is the twitter bird, as I like to call him (him?) I like twitter because it is a really fun way to connect with people around the world and it's also a neat way to keep up with current-events around the world. I'll have a post up all about twitter in a little bit.

This is a picture of some old books, I like books, not only old books, but all kinds of books. There are certain genres that I enjoy more, but books in general are one of my favorite things :) I'm currently reading a series called Maximum Ride by James Patterson, so far, I can't put it down.

And now, last but certainly not least... Justin Bieber. Of course I like Justin Bieber, what teenage girl in this world doesn't. You knew this was coming though, I saved it for the end because it's my favorite thing on this list. In fact, I think I should have called this post Lovable Things, because I love Justin Bieber, anyways, that's enough about him :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed this short post that was all about things I like, I'll talk to you soon when I write my post all about Twitter. Bye! :)

The Social Network Movie.

Last night I went to see 'The Social Network' movie. Overall, I thought it was an amazing movie. I'm not sure what genre of movies you enjoy watching but this one was really enjoyable. I'm going to sum up the movie, and then list some interesting things about it.

This movie is basically a biography about Facebook. Wait, let me rephrase that.. it's more of a documentary that tells the story about how facebook came about. I'm not really going to give any spoilers away, so I'll just list some things that I, personally, liked about the film.

First of all, I loved that it was 100% truth. Right down to the dialogue. My mom told me that they interviewed everybody that was a part of the making of facebook, and who was going to be portrayed in the movie, and they had to remember each and every conversation and moment of their life along the way. I don't know about you, but I love a true story.

I also liked that the actors and actresses they chose actually looked like the real people. For instance, this is a comparison between Jesse Eisenberg who plays Mark Zuckerberg (facebook's CEO) in the movie.

These aren't the best pictures of the two, but I think the people behind the movie did a pretty good job picking their actors.

Next, is Andrew Garfield who plays Eduardo Saverin (a co-founder of facebook.)

I think the only main difference between the two is their hair. Other than that, they're practically twins :)

Next is Justin Timberlake, who played the part of Sean Parker. Sean Parker was a co-founder of Napster who served as an advisor to facebook and it's first president.

It's not the best picture of Justin Timberlake, but again their hair is the main difference.

This last picture is just a quick comparison of ALL of the main characters and the actors who portrayed them.

Another thing I liked about the movie is that it was funny also, something that surprised me about the movie was that Brenda Song who plays innocent little rich girl London Tipton in the Disney Family Channel Series known as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody had a role in this movie. She played the girlfriend of Sean Parker (Andrew Garfield.) Except, in this movie, she wasn't exactly little and innocent. Below are two pictures of her in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and of her in The Social Network movie.

Brenda Song in The Social Network movie.

Brenda Song in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Anybody spot the differences? Well, I think that's about all I have to say about the movie. I'm just going to write some quick facts about facebook that I learned from the movie, and maybe some quick points about the movie.

  • Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in the world.
  • Mark Zuckerberg was 20 years old when he invented Facebook (still going to University)
  • Facebook was originally called 'The Facebook'
  • The main color on Facebook is blue because Mark Zuckerberg is partially color blind.
  • Mark Zuckerberg went to Harvard University.
  • As of the year 2010 there are over 500 million Facebook users.
Well, those are pretty much all of the fun facts that I've got for you guys :) I hope you enjoyed this post, and I'll talk to you soon :)

Nightmares.

nightmare- [nahyt-mair] noun- a terrifying dream in which the dreamer experiences feelings of helplessness, extreme anxiety, sorrow, etc.

When you say the word 'nightmare' the first thing that comes to mind is scary. Well, for most people at least. In my case, if you ask me, I would say snakes.

When I was younger my Mom would play the same CD every night, it was a lullaby CD, meant to put me to sleep. It ended up having the complete opposite effect.

Every night I would lie down to go to sleep, and my Mom would turn on the CD. It was a Toby Mac CD. The one song that I remember was called 'Irene.' It's meant to be a lullaby. The song tells the story of a young girl, who has a baby, and it's pretty much talking about how the Lord will take care of them, and that he promises he's always watching. Anyways, I would fall asleep and every single night I would have the same nightmare.

Me and my sister Keera are playing barbies in her room on a sunny day, when suddenly skinny little neon green gardener snakes start crawling under the door, into the room. They soon start pouring in through the windows and through cracks in the floor, and through the closet doors. Keera and I start screaming for help, but one of the snakes jumps into her mouth (apparently they're jumping snakes now too) and suddenly all of the other snakes are following it into Keera's mouth. I get so frightened that I run out of the room and onto the front yard to be with the rest of my family. The last thing I saw in the room was snakes crawling in and out of every hole on Keera's tiny little head. Me and the rest of my family sit, sobbing, on the front lawn and the last thing I hear before I wake up is Keera screaming "Help me!" Her voice, barely audible, because of the number of snakes in her mouth...

Pretty messed up dream, I know! I had that dream for a good couple years, and I always woke up sobbing. I got used to the dream as I got older, but it still wouldn't go away. I'm not sure what got ride of the horrible nightmare, but I do have a good idea of what caused it.

It took me a while to find the name of the song, I started searching for it last year, and found it only 5 or 6 months ago. But when I found the song on Youtube, I listened to the song with the lyrics on the screen, and a specific line from the song caught my attention,

"Just cast your cares, and please beware of snakes, they come in all shapes and sizes, tempt you, put scales on your eyelids."

Is it just me or does that lyric seem to have some sort of relevance to my childhood nightmare? Now that I've grown up (somewhat) I realize the meaning to this song, and the snakes are being used as a personification. They are representing people... bad people. The song doesn't scare me anymore and I actually enjoy listening to it :) My sisters find it funny that this song gave me nightmares, and they listen to it all the time too.

I suggest you give the song a listen. (links below)
You can listen to the song with lyrics on-screen here.
Or you can listen to it while enjoying the official music video here.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed hearing about one of my childhood memories. Oh, one more thing, ever since this dream, I've had a SEVERE fear of snakes!

This is almost exactly what they looked like in my dream, just not as detailed.
